Apparently There is also some Finals being played this weekend!!!!!!!!!

Torrens Valley Vs Echunga - Dont know if this will be another 5-10 goal win or not, as the courier/Hughes said there are 5 players from the A grade out. Echunga should be close to full strength and on a dry big ground and what is looking to be good conditions on the day may be able to run. Might be a close one, Maybe????

Kersbrook Vs Gumeracha - Kersbrook I think will get over the line here again, Quality team should be playing off next week for another Grand Final Chance.

B grade - I would say Torrens Valley to get over Echunga, and Kersbrook to Beat Meadows.

Any thoughts?

In all seriousness, SJ would be more than a smoky for HFL "coach of the year"
The impact coach has made up more ground than any other coach in the HFL in 2010.

Reckon you might have enjoyed a bit of a 'smoky' before that post Duke-boy,
SJ wouldve enjoyed that comment though coz you were Keeping It Simple Stupid.
Would he mention the Kokoda track in his acceptance speech?

Mt Barker finished 6th last year. Currently on top and likely to finish there. Maccy finished 6th last year and finished 5th this year. So I wouldn't be engraving the trophy with 'SJ' just yet.

haha G E hughes construction football team always has 5 or 10 players out... its his classic defence just incase they lose a game.
and how else would Dwayne have gotten a game the last couple of years if they didnt have 10 out each week?

Well what happens now!
Go Echunga!
I am sure the old rivalry with Kersbrook will help the TV problem disappear as soon as they play next!

Hope it does. You can't buy a premiership - last year showed that.

I wonder, if they lose to Kersbrook (assuming they beat Gum), will they still go up to Central? Don't they have to finish top 2 this year?

I think you have to make the GF then nominate , but with the cut off dates it means spending another year in country before going up. Strange system that needs addressing.

Is what happened to TV on saturday an example of what could happen next year if 4 or 5 of their gun recruits get injured.
If Echunga can beat them by 5 what would a Uraidla or Barker do to them.

Kersbrook 16.14 to Gumeracha 4.8 on the ever reliable Maccy score board at the final siren.
Gum never looked in it - not even close, before or after the Coaches half time "speech" :x

TV will get their arse kicked by Barker and Uri regardlessof if thier top 5 are playing. They will struggle to make top 5. Bring em up I know heaps of teams can't wait to play them. Hopefully they have to play the good sides first up and play the lobeys, bridgy etc in the latter rounds. No free rides now Owen. It will look good 0-5 after 5 rounds. Go Echunga, Go Brookers - Suck eggs Gary !!!!!! Loser

TV had McDowell, Sitters and Young out on Saturday so Gary wasn't telling a lie.

Shouldnt be any excuses by the Lions with their playing list though.
Was it the loss the Lions needed to have? Or is it simply that, come finals time, a champion team will beat a team of champions. Ok, well I'll put "chapmions" in quotes.
Looking forward to the Lions' big clash with Kersbrook this weekend and Im hoping the Lions' mid north connection of Young, Stanbridge, Mazzone etc can lift and get the Lions into another GF.
