Not sure if this is correct but KLAGy may be able to confirm..

A northern area host club printed their own copies of the budget which in turn denied the girls an opportunity to raise a few bucks... same club may well have pulled the same stunt last year with the Breast Cancer Appeal..they obviously need the $20 they raise more than the girls do.

Seems like a bit of Bullsh1t to me

 news travels fast... lets just say i left the ground i was at because the club rep told me he didn’t want one of my budgets because he had 35 that he printed off himself... so i went back to Greenacres for most of the day and had a lovely time :D

The President of the SAWFL was at Thebby on Saturday, and was told by a few of the guys that women shouldn’t be playing football. A bit disheartening really, but that sure wont be stopping me... when i get over my injuries 8) haha

I'm so sorry about Portland. The Port girls were unable to get down there on the day to sell them so we had to use the last resort of dropping them at the canteen. Hopefully you still got to read one :-bd There were about 5 grounds where we had to leave them at the canteen because unfortunately most of the girls work on Saturdays (so that they can play on Sundays.)

Overall it was a great day out! I'm looking forward to this weekend getting out there to sell more budgets, and watching some great footy :d

PM me if you would like to help at all, or have any feedback from your grounds (because i obviously couldnt be at every game... as much as i would've liked to be :D )

aceman $20
turk186 $20
Luke Hosie $50

What's happening here, a bloke goes away to work for a few days and the donations stagnate. Who is going to be the next "super donor" for this great cause??

I'm sorry :( i will definitely visit next time i'm around the place. I was around the ground with my pink money tin taking donations and selling every single budget :D I now officially love Greenacres, lol.

I spent most of the B Grade game over in the pocket with the Salisbury Boys... (the pocket where our guy got reported for dacking himself, hahaha)... but during the A Grade game i was there for the first 10 minutes with Choccies before heading back to the club that shall not be named :-$

Teaoby, the President and her husband had a good chat to me at the SAWFL finals on sunday and made a point in mentioning that she did have some decent conversations and sold a few raffle tickets too. That was great to hear... however the small degree of negativity over shadowed the rest. It's a shame how there is a small minority out there who need to put others down to make themselves feel better...

... to them i say "I challenge you to kick the footy with me" 8) haha

Awwww, the marquee sounds amazing!!! I'm possibly heading out to the worst place to be on a wet day

At this stage i'll be heading out to Old Iggys to make sure the Portland boys get their budgets this week. I'll leave there hopefully after i sell them all and head down to Bramah Lodge.

As for Harpers... i would love to be there for many reasons, but the Greenacres girls are so good at supporting the boys that they will be there selling them on the day... However, if Salisburys A Grade was playing you wouldnt be able to get rid of me that easily

KLAG'y
when you get to The Lodge ask for me at the bar as I want to talk about getting girls/womens footy for next year - if you have any paperwork etc bring it down as well so that I can pass out to the committee as well
