EG 7/346
TROTT 149*
BROAD 125*
AAMIR 6/83

Outstanding days cricket
EG 7/102 at one stage after AAmir destroyed them
Then the amazing 244 partnership

TROTT was warned by BOWDEN for time wasting
SAFOOTY English idol BROAD scored his maiden Test ton, and whatta time to do it

RECORD?
I believe BROADs 125 is the highest score by a EG number 9 batsman
112 John Murray v WI 1966
122 Gubby Allen v NZ 1931
Gubby is the bowler who refused to bowl Bodyline 2 years later v AU
BROAD luv him or hate him is simply an outstanding package

There's one for Broad, doing a Peter Siddle and appealing for LBW when he bowled Yousuf.

Total joke that he is playing.
Should have been banned for the rest of the series for his antics in an earlier test. Was quoted in the paper that a few thought he continually gets off lightly bcos of the position his father Chris holds. Chairman of the disciplinery review committee of some crock of S**T like that.
Ended up getting fined 1/2 his match fee. Big fricken deal. What a joke it is that Captains can be suspended for slow over rates but players can throw cricket balls at batsmen and hit them for no other reason than that they are frustrated wankers and get away with a sMALl fine.
Anyway, his 169 doesn't rate even close to the greatest No. 9 in test history, Sth Australias own Dizzy Gillespie who's 201* S**ts all over Broads knock as he had to come out and face an almost new ball whilst Broad had had the shine taken off by the time he tossed his way out to the crease.

And another thing, Dizzy could bowl as well, thats one thing that this tossser will never conquer the art of !!! ;)

Gillespies 200 against the worst team in world cricket. Showed what the selectors thought of it, as he never played again.
Australia's behaviour has been poor recently, why did Benn get suspended last Summer when Australia's behaviour was just as bad.

Not disagreeing with u Cadet, it's just that i, along with a few ex English players and commentators, can't stand his boorish & sooky behaivor and i'll use any arugument to validate my claims even if they dont hold up upon close scrutiny. ;)

Another betting scandal involving Pakistan. Two bowlers thought to have bowled 3 no balls in a row deliberately.

They were pretty obvious no balls too, the front foot was miles over the line.

I saw one of those no-balls, and thought at the time it was just to unsettle the batsman. Maybe not.
