Actually...i've got the whole newspaper article in front of me (Sunday Mail - May 16 2004 - page 57) and it says:

"REPORTS - Norwood: Thomas by umpire Williams for allegedly striking Hay. Haythorpe by Williams for allegedly striking J. Gowans"

The shot looks good, but it does make more of it than was the case. If it was a punch, it would have broken his nose, judging by the spot he would have hit. It was just a push in reality. It did make for a good photo and got some talk on 5AA for a few days. Lol.

Yeah I ummed and ahhd if it was Gallagher or Clements but went with Gallagher, knowing that I'd be corrected if I got it wrong...
