imho the trots have missed the boat this week, with the national sprint & distance championships on at angle park on saturday evening, surely the main meeting at globe derby this week should have been on friday night in an attempt to avoid the clash for many reasons but mainly financial ones......perhaps they don't know the dogs are on   but they should because the government has given the dogs $200,000.00 for marketing & advertising & the adds are on all the time

Mal your the man, does he ever select a loser? May not be long priced winners but they are always winners.

Wonder if we will hear from TRBC?

 Its quite simple guys. Have a look at every Fri and Sat night results for the past 5 years. More than half the winners are favourites and a majority under $2. Laws of Probability.

This guy is picking hot favourites in weak fields, mind you hes not the only one but if your proffessing to be in the know give a tip that few people are aware off and 1 that is over $1.30. Then again why would you.

Holidays in Port Pirie ?

I have asked b4 why does Port Pirie have about 2 months off at this time off the year ?

As for 13 races for Friday and Saturday night
That means I will turnover less $$$$$$$$$$$
That would equate to less $$$$ for the club
Less $$$$$ commissions for the TAB
Most importantly less opportunities for me to WIN

Speaking of Unitab, I wonder if they will re-name the GDP sprint lane to the Unitab sprint lane ....

i thought the same thing when i heard that on todays 5rph trot show....i also think unitabs decision to tell their race callers they are not allowed to mention someones passing when drivers, jockeys or dog handlers are wearing black armbands shows a distinct lack of respect

it was mentioned on todays show that 'yatesy' was asked to put over why the drivers were wearing black armbands & condolences etc & he answered i'm sorry we are instructed not to do that anymore....it really is disgraceful, as for the sprint lane sponsorships unitab stops a great little earner

Speaking of sprint lanes
The scoring up of barrier 7 has changed
7 must follow 1 on the mobile
It cannot come off and follow barrier 2 anymore
Means
7 follows 1
8 follows 2
9 follows 3
10 follows 4

Thank goodness I listen to the 5rph trotting show
Imagine studying later tonight and TOMorrow morning for nothing

I wonder if Unitab or 1539 will alert punters on the 7 change TOMorrow ?
Im tipping a few punters will be angry sometime after race 1 Friday night

Ive watched every race in the several weeks ago time span
Ive listened to the trots shows on the radio as fastidiously as possible
Ive listened to several previews from Jimmy Throataches
Had I not listened to todays 5RPH radio show, I would not have known

Dont kid yourself Bayman
I think u will find MOST people are still unaware of the change
Especially TAB punters and Internet punters

Had No idea that the score up procedure had changed. :?
Absolutely critical change that is.

Why in the F**K do they keep changing things back to the way they were?

Wouldn't be surprised if next weeks meeting they revert to ALL stand starts back to Wayville with miniMAL notification.

Whats all this S**T about Unitab sprint lanes & black arm bands?

Think PuniTab should worry more about getting their S**T together in regaurds to S**Tful pools on all those international meetings they bet on.
eg. Vicennes trots race 8 Trifecta pool $69 Exacta pool $0.00  These pools are common on these international meetings.
