Would be a shame if they lost all theur juniors considering how well they have done last few years. Surely rebuilding through your locals and juniors guarantees ya club success for more than just the one year.

After the 17's GF young popey was approached by Nathan grangier. He was asked to come back late december for a meeting to discuss match payment but popey said his heart laid with the woodys. Also budda Delawyer has rumoured to be having talks with morphett vale after he spent alot of time in divy 2

both delawyers daniel and chris have left blackwood and are signed up to play with noarlunga as for the other juniors i would give them another year pagey has been promising a grade spots to them which seems odd considering the number of players they have bougth. I reckon more will leave next year after realising they were conned to stay unless you can now play 50 blokes in the a's they wont get a run.

Elephant, yeah I got a touch up on my looks saturday, nothing too serious though, a bit of colour for a couple of days, perhaps an improvement!

There have been many new faces on the track so far and alot of them have signed already. Good signs so far, Scooter has us working hard and everyone is keen and doing it smiling :) Even Sausage Fingers has been out for a trot! When will we see your hairy ar$e out for a run?

Has anyone got any mail on Birdwood. Im interested to know if they have recruited any players etc. I heard they have had good numbers on the track. They might go alright after all. They have good kids.

No word on a C grade as yet, perhaps a Friday night comp but who knows?

Have not seen the Tacho but Morry trained Monday night, not sure about the rumours and how much truth there is in them.

Sausage Fingers trained the house down last night!

Joely and Zorba both trained Monday, Joely looked pretty good, I think he enjoyed himself. I don't reckon we will be seeing Tagga though, although I haven't heard anything yet.

You'll need a pretty big sling to drag my Ar$e!

I believe that wood will be playing this year. Lives in the hills now, which makes it a little easier without the travel.

Had a bloke out last night who did a little training with Birdwood before Christmas. Said that they were getting ok numbers. Time will tell if they will be competitive in central.

I have heard of this rumour too regarding Adam Klun, apparently the source is reasonably reliable................

Regarding big Brad Smith, he will most likely be retired until around late March, early April  . The pre season would do him good but perhaps some time away from footy would do him better?

no doubt klun would be a huge loss to onkas if he goes. contin aswell to be honest i never thought contin did that much, maybe he was better against other teams though, he did afterall make the hills side. just never saw him do much against the devs.

Klun is the best player running around in the Hills by some distance I'd have to say. Is Kerber playing this year or is he down at North? Definately one of the better ruckman running around these days...an area hills footy seriously lacks, quality ruckman, esspecially with the Cabbage losing theirs. Uraidla won't be the same without their blonde haired bombshell.

I've been doing a bit of reading over previous topics of conversation, am i right in saying Pahl is leaving Lofty? Where does that leave Lofty in terms of Ruckman? This Temme sounds a bit disheartened by the happenings at the Lofty. Didn't he have a brother running around for a while there?

Very interested to see how Blackwood go this year, no that they should be in the league anyway. How they haven't won the past 10 flags with the number of players and cash going around there I'll never know, whoevers running the club is obviously doing something seriously wrong!

kerber is playing but not sure how much rucking he does, and is far from the best going around.

pahl has moved to whyalla for work. temme isnt disheartened at all he's as pumped as anyone on the track, smashing the long running drills. his bro was overseas last year and has a job in melb this year.

blackwood should be better than last year because of the money they have apparently spent in buying a totally new team.

Kerber can play anywhere i guess, fair gun!

So where does that leave Lofty in the rucking stocks if Pahl's gone and one of the Temme's has gone? That's two fair losses is it not? They obviously need a back up, younger Temme can't run the ruck all day, esspecially around the grounds against some one carrying a bit of size!

Best ruckman to play in the Hills: Munday from Lobethal...amazing footballer! Would anyone refute that? I guess thats only in the past 10 years, couldn't speak for any earlier.

So Blackwood is starting so spend the $$$, I can't see them doing any damage on the top two (Cabbage & Devils). Good for the game, money brings quality.

Bring on more of the night games too I say!
