With a wonky knee that I will find out more about after the MRI on Wednesday afternoon.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand, will be interesting to see if Roy Laird punts on bringing Yves Sibenaler back into the league side after a couple of good reserves performances.

On the CDFC site, Evil quoted as saying he may not be available for either side this week.

Sturt can actually make 3rd position, provided both games are won and Eagles and Norwood lose both matches.

That's true Spelly but highly unlikely with WWT's win against Centrals, in reality we're still struggling to make the finals.

The dogs could have a swag of changes - Sibenaler & Switala played in the two's and Spurr, Gowans, Sansbury, Gunston all a chance to come back from injury. A loss to the Eagles last week may put the prewssure on some of the recent inclusions at the selection table. What is the story with Sutherland? Will he return for finals or play out the year in the country?

It will be a tough ask to win at poo park especially with all the rain this week, it will probably be an absolute hard slog in the bog.

It will be a very hard game for either team to win although there's still a chance that soft and lazy Sturt will turn up. I think we've been training at Adelaide Oval this week so hopefully our memorable ground will come up ok.
"A bog"? Indeed, how rude!  How dare you call our home ground a "bog", even if it may or may not be an apt description. I thought there were new rules on this site about the upsetting of groundsmen and the name-calling of individual ovals.

Good one Cutterman what about i call it a quagmire fen, swamp, marsh, morass or a sump lol i remember going back maybe 5 years ago or so i attended poo park and it was real boggy and an unbelievable stench emanated from the ground, not to mention that players had diificulty lifting their feet out of the mess whilst trying to kick the ball, never seen or smelled anything like it before, mind you that time it teemed down with H2O the whole week

Pond?
I just don't know how the groundsmen will continue with their work after this stern tongue lashing!
I'm really looking forward to this game, first day of sunny weather for a while (hopefully), Toby and Nello's last games at Unley, a good mates birthday and hopefully another Dog kicking.

Still remember that time when it was at it's worst. Seems to have been better in recent years, but it was a disgrace at the time.

If only Sturt would bother getting a groundsman, then we could worry about whether we upset him with our comments. Does anyone do anything to that place apart from paint lines once a fortnight? They don't even pick up the dog poo.
