Will Young in only his second game won the TV from channel 10 for BOG. Good job.

On 2010 - only the second time in our history we failed to win a game in Melbourne for the season. Other year was 1994 when we did get a draw with St.Kilda.

Brave effort, had everything against us (6 day break as opposed to 8 days, coming back from Brisbane as opposed to walking over from the Lexus Centre,) along with the expectation that we would get slaughtered. Score board probably flattered us a little in the end, all in all very proud of the fight the lads put up.

Don't want to put too much of a dampner on the effort but, when will certain players learn not to give the ball to Maric in general play?????

I actually thought Maric was pretty good last night. Took some good solid marks in defence and was there for the spoil over the line when needed. Also was a link man in a couple plays and performed pretty well in the ruck all night. Can't ask much more from a big man really.

I thought all the young fellas really went hard at the footy last night which was very pleasing to see. Johncock was superb again last night, the club champion is really between him and Douglas this year you would think.

On Davis too - I thought he played as well last night as Bock has at any stage this year, and the beauty is he can only improve. In fact, I thought his Davis was much more acurate with his disposal than Bock has been this year.

A great game in the end with a disappointing result, but at least it gives us some good reasons to look forward positively to 2011.

I forgot to mention one thing too - Walls threw up a stat at one stage that Tippett is number 1 in the competition for contested posession in the forward 50. That is impressive for a bloke of his size, very impressive.

If the midfield can clean up their skills and get better at their forward entries he could be a monster.

Tippett has the ability in the next few years to kick 70+ goals in the season and maybe win a coleman!

He has kicked 44 goals 31 points this year and played a lot of the first half of the year changing in the ruck! The 31 points, you would have to say 20 of them he should have kicked in recent weeks. He could have easily kicked 60+ goals this year and really put himself up there as a power house Forward!
