In that case, Brahma were sh*t and cheated there way to victory lol

Would be interested to hear thoughts on anyone at the game who saw the duel between bellman and halliday......I'm supposing Bellman won again  ?

As for the rest of the game, our pressure was right up in the first half and the game was very even. We probably should have been a couple up at half time if not for skill errors and missing easy shots at goal. Brahma on the other hand were clinical infront of goal, and really capitalised on our turnovers.

Second half Brahma seemed to move into gear and we fell away. After a relatively even third term Brahma blew us away in the last and made the scoreline look silly. They were fantastic in the last quarter and we were poor.

We just dont seem to match up very well with Brahma at all. If we have the good fortune of playing them again this year it will be in the grand final cos I cant see Heccies getting close to them. If so, we will be trying something very different next time around or we will face the same consequences...

I only watched the first 1/2 half and Halliday was a long way in front of him. You starting to sound like the lodge mate, you have to get past a very good side in Rosewater this week first!

Well done to Brahma B grade yesterday. They were too good and done the damage in the second quarter. Still think the top 3 sides were ahead of the rest but if brahmas experienced guys all play well ya never know.

Great effort by our guys to make the finals after having a poor first half of the year and only winning 3 games. Turned it around in the second half and battled hard. Disappointing to lose yesterday but we never gave in. Good luck to the remaining sides.

I actually thought Halliday had the better of the day, not to say Bellman wasnt any good, still rated his game but thought one on one Halliday took the choccies. Was a good game for 3 qtrs, but as you said the Lodge took their chances when in the F50. Cossi was awesome, was everywhere and didnt miss a shot I reckon. Scotty Mac got some cheapies (maybe 4-5 in the last quarter???) but was very handy none the less. A couple to return this week maybe, will be a cracker vs Hectorville.

Yeah the second quarter was the one where we broke it open a bit, we didnt do ourselves any favours with our goal kicking again. Can just imagine what we will be doing on Tuesday and Thursday.

Your ruckman must of got sick of the ball coming to him...if he actually had good hands he would have taken in 30 marks for the day. You guys did have a good second half of the year and was not the team we wanted to face in the first final. You are right with the top 3 teams though, we will need to be at our best to just compete with them. I still believe Eliz will be the team to beat, Lutheran and Plympton will be very hard to beat also.

The word on the street is incorrect, he organised it while he was playing for EPFC at the start of the season. Nice try though.

Rosies to good on Sat, harrased & ran the ball well. Plympton played a great 3rd qrt but not enough goals up at the change.
3 retirements and also the coach. very inconsistent year week in week out & need to work on that over the summer regroup & rebuild.FWIW think rosies will push & worry Eliz next week but must be a few in front at 3/4 to win Eliz just.
BL by 4 goals over Heccies.

Ply Bs & C grade a good chance to make the G/F

thought NOS 1 Matz very creative and quick Brauer wingman made space and quick CHB Jacobsen very good skipper 10 good leader Horsell bit quite at times was resting up forward seems to be carrying ankle but still dangerous 11 good hands up forward

Ueding 9 had a quite game but expect him to be on song this week

good balanced team went of the boil in the 3rd but never lost they will back themselves in but if you give them confidence they will be hard to beat, play like you did in round 1 and you should win
