Too much effort to be honest and wouldn't make a scrap of difference, especially seeing the blokes that make the decisions have already unanimously decided.

Port remind me of the crazy neighbours. They just seem to scream all night and day and annoy everyone but they're not really getting anywhere.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

I have been temoted to start one my self.

THey failed and now the Magpies are starting to get out of debt and they see a way to help the power and make a name for themselves. I love the fact that they say sharing a venue will bring in huge revenue for both. Who will get the bulk of that. They should change some of the creed to include always taking the easy way out.

300,000 "supporters" and their in financial trouble? Give me a break. Looks like their over inflated self importance is repeating itself just as it did back when they entered the AFL with their estimated revenue, membership and attendance figures. My sympathy has run dry.
Let's separate the two for a minute. How can PAMFC have the same if not more members than Sturt, the same or more attendance and I would think a better home game ground return than Sturt and they are still struggling to be viable? Sturt's struggling to be viable but we aren't asking for an easy out, there is no easy out for us just hard work.
I'm stuffed if I'm going to sit back and watch the same old egos undermine the strength of the SANFL once again for their own selfish demands. Let's be real because that's what it'll come down to. Last time it was about being united in name and membership now it's about a total re-unification reserves and all, reserves in the SANFL to make it a 10 team comp, what the hell do you think Adelaide will want to do, have their own reserves and then we'll have an 11 team comp. The problem is that both PAFC and the PAMFC can't see the past their own interests or the bigger picture and consequences of their actions.
Goundhog day me thinks, never, NEVER will you have me backing this.

I'm always interested in these kind of numbers, supposedly Sydney have a billion supporters or something like that.

I bet the survey questions are loaded "so if you had to choose an AFL team who would you support?".. "well I think it was nice of those guys to let a 7 year old girl design their guernsey, so I reckon that mob.. whatever they're called"
It's all the SANFL's fault.

I would've liked to have left a message :) but didn't want to register to do so as my registration would be contstrued as a positive registration as a yes. I'd be interested as to how many "registrations" they feel they need to consider it as being valid.

It's easier to sit at home with a beer and the foxtel remote and blame everyone else.

And demand to destroy an iconic oval to entertain the thought of going to a match.

If the development goes ahead, they should be sent the bill if they still cant draw a crowd.

They'll just give it back to the SANFL.

These guys are in la la land. To claim they have 300,000 supporters is complete garbage. If this point can be debated to prove the claim, get these supporters to contribute $1 piddly dollar - $300, 000 is more than the Magpies need (this time around). We all know how many supporters Port Magpies have - those that purchased a membership or contributed funds this year.
They're rapidly declining from a proud club, to begrudgingly admire, to a sooky sooky, whining laughing stock. We've been fed how great they are and how loyal their supporters are over their history. Well now the goings got tough, they've gone hiding. Why should we change our competition, because they've been mismanaged? I'm no longer sympathetic, now fed up.

Disclaimer: This last "registration" rubbish, may not be at the instigation of the club.
