oh and gts - fleety wud be interested in the echunga move coz i beleive he plays cricket with the agrade coach.

fleety always talks about going to another club but will not be leaving the devils. he will be training shortly with the devils. he did play with the echunga a grade coach but he has left echunga this year. interesting to hear temme is upset. he is not the only one in the club upset with players getting paid and others not. stay tuned as it could be very interesting!

sorry i thought he was refering to gifford. didn't realise new echunga coach played for mylor. fleet is pretty confident at staying at lofty. there is a slight chance he would go to echunga but will depend on outside sources. the money would be very handy for him at echunga but not the reason for going

Very Ordinary Call on Muffy There Rapper. He is a top bloke, and an awesome coup for the Thunderers. Great work by exelby and his recruitment team.

Once again i think silky is talking crap again. Spoke with temme at training, with the devils and he isn't going anywhere.

On another note, muffy will be a great pick up for ironbank. Will be interesting to see if he is as good in the hills as he was in the rmfl, with there nice big ovals. Especially seeing as he will spend half the season playing at the rather small thunderdome.

Sorry Indian, but wouldn't call that very ordinary, I have heard muffy is a criminal through and through. But who knows it may all be just rumours. At the end of the day, he is a gun player and will do very well this year in the HFL.

Interested to know from anyone why fleet would want to leave Lofty. Didn't he win an A grade premiership at Full forward and kick 50 odd goals for the year??

Good old Inside 50.

The funny thing about Inside 50 saying that and trying to convince him to go to Sturt is that as a youngster, I50 always went on about being a Devil through and through and that he'd never play anywhere else - Sturt included. His exact words were "my heart is red and white".

Don't blame him for having a crack down there though. The man is a gun. Loves a knuckle too on recent form!

As for being defensive, you gotta play with a straight bat - that's why I was shite at cricket!

coach, players, himself??

fleet had a sensational first half but in second half of year did strugggle a bit with injury and form. he spent alot of time on the pine when fit which was very dissapointing after the great start to the year. when alot of players come into a club locals are gonna miss out. there may be no room for fleet in the lofty side this year. if you spend majority of the game spent on the bench your going to be upset and would look at other options.

Devils Advocate,
Dont get me wrong champ, Ive got a lot of time for you and reckon you're one of the funniest blokes I've ever met, but that really is a disgraceful call. To say that I am not devil through and through is poor form by you. If your getting stuck into about moving on to greener pastures and trying to go as far as i can with my footy you are pulling it chamese.

For starters, despite not playing a single game for Mt. Lofty last year I went back to the club to watch the presentations every Saturday after I had finished down at Unley. I went to every single club function during the season and even did a shite load of work around the club for Coco in my spare time. Not only that, even though I didn't wear the red and white last year I still went on the end of year trip to Bondi and showed my true colours... even though there were some notable absentees from the trip... yourself included.

Watching the blokes i had grown up playing with win the A grade premiership was probably one of the happiest days of my life mate... and even though i had a good year personally last season i would have given my left nut to have played in that side.

And another thing i didn't try and convince Hopper to come down to Unley... He called me up and asked for the coaches phone number. All I told him was it was the best move I had ever made because it has made me a 10 times better athlete and footballer.

And just to proove it to ya mate, when ive gone as far as i can with my footy in town... whether that be in 1 year or 15 years... will come back and play at devil park and I wont ask for a cent... I will just play because I love the club mate.

That was beautiful. I think i just made liquid explosion.
Im all for people and mates to play at the best possible level and if pencil was to give Sturt a crack i would be right behind him 100% as i was/am with you I50. In fact i dont think you would find many people at the devs who wouldn't get around someone if they wanted to have a crack.

obviously welndlebourne would have a bit to do with the river murray recruits so possibly a bit of a reduced deal at thuner park? so indian whats the story on shane russell is he ruling out any return to ironbank whatsoever? and is his old man coaching this year at all?

The only reason i had another crack in town was because the blokes at mt.lofty told me to. I would have been happy to have just played at devil land last year but the senior blokes told me i would be selling myself short if i didnt try.

I think you will find that Temme will definatley be playing at Mt. Lofty this season and he will dominate.

Also I have heard that midfielder Paul "Pepper" Sarno has left Mt. Lofty and moved to TTG for '07. Can anyone confirm this? Handy player, just lost his way a little bit in 2006 playing in such a talent packed Mt. Lofty side.

this including muffy. Ironbank will be improvers especially now that they look like losing Morrissey and Williamson to meadows.
my mail tells me that these rumurs may be true but the club may be nairne !!!!! dont 4 get the mick duncan connection
