HBF - I wasn't aware of their situation as it was before my time. If they did that then I commend them for doing that too.

TBF - it's not about asking for 'player handouts', it is more someone who feels like they can join and make a contribution to the club not have the HFL 'draft' players to Cally. I would never want to see any side fold ... apart from Collingwood!

So where to now for supercoach johnno? I think he should take up the ultimate challenge and coach callington. He does have a knack for turning clubs around for example he took birdwood from bottom to a few grand finals (they now in central), angaston from bottom to finals (have a good chance of making grand final this year) and maccy from near bottom to finals this year.

Johnno took Angaston from bottom (9th) to 5th in 2 years, Success??? Definitely Not finals.
Had an 'impact' though as all 'impact' coaches should, helped we only had one way to go from bottom.
Finals have come on the back of some solid recruiting over last 2 seasons, after the 'impact-ful' one had left.

Choccies... Have heard a couple rumours as to where the "Impact Coach" is heading in 2011.
But the big rumour is that he's heading to the G.G Kookaburra's in a mentoring capacity to the current coach.
Are you prepared to pay the price? WILL YOU PAY THE PRICE?

Yeah that's correct ;) Because our current A grade coach, Mark Weaver who has coached succesfully at Div 1 level with TTG over the last 4 years really needs to be mentored and pointed in the right direction by a self proclaimed, award winning whiteboard holder like the Terminator.... And if he struggles and the Assistant Coach Andrew Pascoe can't help either then WHAMMY, Impy is there ready to move the magnets !!

I don't understand how he can be trusted with a magnetic whiteboard,
he constantly has it upside down and the names mis-spelt.
Surely some cartridge paper and a blue crayon would be a better fit.
If the King of Smoo is to be believed, the 'Impact' coach is to become an umpire,
no-one likes an 'impact' umpire though, they should be seen and largely unheard.
Not sure that changing Callingtons name is the antidote up there either,
a poo by any other name is still gonna be brown and smelly.
Reckon the club and league need to do better than a name change.
Identify how the club can put a program in place to start from scratch and rebuild from there,
changing the name reeks of a token effort.

Advertiser basially says that the League is no longer going to accomodate for Callington. The league, HFL President by nme of course, has said that they are looking into an A3 league with several bigger clubs, Blackwood named, are interested also. So my guess is te League wants Callington A grade put into A3 league and Callinton B garde to play C grade. That's what I got from the article, and also Callington are wanting a new President and will be spendingmoney on players next year!

Short and simple, not the whole article obviously.
