From the games I have seen from Berri this year, what player doesn't talk to the umpires? Todd Charlton has umpired majority of Berri's games and seems to diliberately be 'harder' on Berri to not be given a bias name. It's a shame Rod Koch couldn't do the same with the Panthers.

In saying that, knowing Dave's dad, the talk around the house would be far from the whillas medal and ALOT more focused around winning a premiership in Berri's Centenery year.

Also, I dont see how Mules and Proud deserve to be mentioned as they have only won 4 games is it? Yes they both have had good years, but its VERY hard to see how a player from a team like that could have any hope winning it.

Dave Hankin is a toss. He won't even make team of the year, let alone win the Whillas ;)

Not sure on games won but it wasn't that long ago that a Berri player (Storic??) won the medal and from memory Berri didn't win too many games. Berri have also provided a few Whillas Medallists in recent times when they didn't sing the club song too often which proves it can happen.

that is true, well said. because Storic did have a great year, as well as Mark Kruger the year beforehand. The only player out of the top four i could see winning it is one of the Proud's from North. Daniel and Ryan both with good years...helped by Justin in the goal kicking

Daniel won't win - late start, injured towards end as well.
Ryan won't. From my recollection he hasn't polled well in the past.
I have strong belief though that Rhino could win a medal if he played a consistent season.

As for Storic and Kruger, those blokes were stand out players in a struggling side. You have to be as very good player to win from a bottom side.

Great to see beachy and damian stevens as the two favourites, beachy very hard working midfielder and damian stevens very talented. His brother shane missed out on a mail medal due to suspension, would be great to see one of them win. When is your medal night?
