P.S. game was over umpired in the last quarter and ruined the party for SMOSH. This was a GREAT reality check for us golden grove boys who have not lost all year and I can assure you attitudes will be changed in 2 weeks time.

Our midfield was very lazy, if our back line had of showed the poor attitude that the midfield and forward line showed on the weekend SMOSH would have come out with a 100 point victory. Its no coincidence that all 5 best players for us were not in the midfield or forward line.

They were good when we went and played them on their dung hill, and they have only been getting better since then. They seem to have picked up a few guys out of their B's and it is doing them wonders, a genuine contender now. Should easily account for Ingle Farm this week.

Who they play in the elimination semi will have a big impact on how far they go. I suspect SMOSH will smash them if they meet, where as PAOC could be a different story altogether. Before you all say it's unlikely SMOSH will lose to PAOC so therefore Lockleys will no have to worry about them, keep in mind, PAOC's A's, B's and C's all finished top and all get the week off. As they are in the finals their is free interchange between the sides (stupid rule BTW) so there is nothing stopping them putting out an all star D-grade side this week!

I don't think they will do it, but could shake things up if they do!

I dont think they would do it to be honest trader, we are in the same situation to an extent and i dont think that we will have any guys dropped back from the B grade this week for C grade. I would assume all we would have is the guys left over after they name their 22, which is really so these guys have the opportunity to get back in the B grade side. I am pretty sure you need to name a 22 for this week even if you are not playing?

Agreed, doubt a club like PAOC would do it, but it's certainly an option.
Even if you did need to name a side, just name the Cs in the Ds and the Ds in the Cs.

As you say, guys who would have been dropped will play so they can fight for their spot back. That should be enough when you think about it. A couple guys in to each of the three sides above means you've got 6 or so that will be running around in the Ds.

you still have to play a certain amount of games to qualify. u could get permits for players who were injured. If any club did that sort thing u would think u would lose that side next year. If i had played all year to be dropped for b and c graders or ex players. i would not be happy at all. And in my eyes you would think about not playinng for that club again.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

exactly that is why I cant see it happening, besides that it would something that can give you some false hope! I dont think that just getting to a GF is enough, if I am there I would want to win it, with the side that got me there.

Good luck Ingle Farm today, need a 10 goal turnaround but funnier things have happened in finals.

Good last quarter for Locks. The oval is a tad muddy in patches but looks like it's holding up OK.

Oval is lucky to be as good as it is after the rain that was dumped on it last night

I missed the last 1/4, the 3rd was a bit of a struggle
Hopefully it's just the start of a big day for Lockleys
