Would expect Burton to play reserves if he plays. Hentschel has played two in a row now, including league last week, so hopefully is fit and can play a full game.

As Premiers said, I think Fitzgerald, Allmond and Day are the three most in danger of losing their spot.

Bayman Henstchel played against Port .And did ok.Thats 2 straight games(1 in souths seconds) this will be his third and should be getting better.
Burton I would think would play in the seconds I hope anyway. Don't forget Knights may well return from the awfull!!
As premiers has said perhaps Allmond Day and Fitzgerald may get dropped.

Depending on the Weather could Redden come in at Full Forward depending on Day being an in or out .At his size he could cause the bay backmen some concern.Seeing when he went there last week he actually played well in the seconds.

With Griffin out with an ankle injury Sellsy has been named for the Crows along with mcKernon. Hopefully for his sake he big fella gets a game. Banner dropped by the 'smears for Salter and Stewart.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

isn't there a rule stating that players omitted from an afl team have to play at least 3 weeks in an sanfl league team before moving down to the reserves ?

Where did you see/hear that mickyj? Not listed in either team on the Eagles website.

Would've thought he'd be in our league team this weekend.

Thought the had to play league at least one week, didn't know it was three.

Like the look of the Eagles side this week, especially the defence. Maybe start Rimmington at half-forward, try Day at FF and Miles on the bench.

I actually thought it was two weeks, but not sure whether the rule still applies if he was playing reserves before getting selected by the Power.

Unless the rule was changed after the Surjan move, an AFL player has to play 2 weeks in the league before being dropped to the reserves.

Have a feeling this is a statement game for the bays and reckon this might be the launch into the business end that us supporters are looking for.

Could be said if the impossible happens it could very well be a statement game for the Eagles !!!
Win this look out top 3 but its a very very very very very very big IF.Wont happen couldn't happen Eagles beating the bays no way couldn't happen in a month of wet Sundays.
Or could it ?
Eagles ran a very fast Port off their feet last week !!
Last game Eagles V Bays no Grocke.Sellar played well IMHO no Sellar.Herntschel at CHB this game .And would Rudoplh play on a small Eagles Forward ?
So many questions to be answered tomorrow.

last weeks win was the first win of the season (except for round 1) that we've played with full intensity for a full game & therefore we have a little bit more confidence than before, still a long way to go to challenge central, wwt & norwood but it is a start ;)
