The Seeds 2cd re-issue of almost their entire catalouge. A must listen for anyone into 60's garage rock.

I bought that album on the strength of one track: "I Can Change". Found "Dance Yrself Clean" and "You Wanted A Hit" to also be good. The rest of it was so-so.

I think I'll be skipping Track 8 every time, but I like the rest as a cruisy, kickin'-back album. At the moment my favourite is 'Home'.

Even track 8 is a grower - I didn't like it initially. Got it on vinyl this week too - sounds awesome!

Live - Secret Samadhi

Another album that brings back a lot of good memories for me. My best mate and I used to listen to this when we were fifteen. We'd get stoned out the back and then come back inside, listen to Live and draw these fantastic pictures. My house was like a war zone at the time and these were pretty much the only times I ever got to relax. So I value this album pretty highly. :)

Indeed, I bought that album twice to get both of the promotional bonus discs too "Rarities" and "Just Another Bonus Disc". I think it's been something like 9 years since The Mark Of Cain's last album as well.

Fisho, Too true that was a pretty good album. I really liked Lakini's Juice.

I don't like Live.

But...

A Live song was played at a mate's funeral and I can't come to turn that dislike into hate because of that fact.
Whenever I hear this particular song, I think of this bloke who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I'm sure there are a couple of other posters here who share similar sentiments.

RIP.

John Stanier recorded his drum parts when he was out here with Battles for the '08 Big Day Out and supposedly most of the album was already done then. Rollins recorded guest vocals on a track not on his most recent spoken word tour but the one before that! They take ages to do albums and are very much a part-time band these days which is a shame.

Quality over quantity! It's getting scarey when you think "Battlesick" is nearing its 25 year anniversary
