Agreed Dogmatic. I am gone. 260 odd behind LL, I have 8 to play, LL has 6 and we have 2 of those in common(Martin and Hall). So it boils down to Goddard, Lake, Gram, Henderson, Montagna and Gia outscoring Hargrave, Cross, DelSanto and Jamar by 260+ for me to scrape through!

Yeah I feel the same.

Back in your court with Murphy living up to his nickname. You will get 70 off the bench too.
I need Hall to slot a few in the 2nd half.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

All tied up at 3/4 time between Stats & The Bloods.
I didn't include Byrnes coming off the bench for me so I think I was 72 up.

I'm giving up.

Will make my last two trades this week to upgrade one forward and then I'm sitting back and preparing for next year.

Division VI Semi Finals
(Winners to Preliminary Final, Losers OUT)

4. Nutkickers vs. 8. Leisa’s Lovelies
3. BloodnTars vs. 6. Stats Enough

The Nutkickers have been a bit wobbly of late and they’ll come a cropper against Leisa’s Lovelies this week and get knobbled in straight sets. Stats Enough returned to form so the same fate could await BloodnTars so Statsy could draw Bloods for the second time in as many weeks to advance to the Preliminary Final. If you are going to be tipping upsets, this is the Division to do it in.

C'mon Hodge!
Wanted to go back to Ablett. Time will tell if it was the right decision.

Through to the prelim after beating stats by 103.

Did well considering I was also playing one short after Brown pulled out and my emergency in Stewart doing the same.

At least one bloods team did well on the weekend.

Flattering that I got close enough for it would have made a difference.
Learnt a couple of important things for next season.
Don't pick Higgins or Gibbs.
Good luck for the rest of the finals.

Semi Finals

Nutkickers 2263 d. Leisa's Lovelies 1928
BloodnTars 2176 d. Stats Enough 2073

Nutkickers recorded a fine win to eliminate the Lovelies who are focusing on Division IV and didn't put up much of a fight in their final. Nutkickers got a pretty good score and might be able to kick on from here. BloodnTars elimated Stats who were held back by a case of Hodgeitis on top of his ongoing problem with Higginitis. Must be a virus going around! Well done to BloodnTars who like Nutkickers live on to fight another day.

Division VI Preliminary Finals
(Winners to Grand Final, Losers OUT)

1. Longwood Lions vs. 3. BloodnTars
2. BenjisBeasts vs.4. Nutkickers

The finals have gone pretty much according to script with the top four making it through to the Preliminary Finals. This is perhaps a surprise when you consider how close the minor round was. Longwood Lions have emerged from a late season slumber and must defeat the mighty BloodnTars to advance to the play off next week. With both sides looking to be free of donuts I’m tipping that the Lions will get home.

In the other prelim the Beasts that are Benji’s take on the Nutkickers who advanced in style last week despite me writing them off (or was that because I wrote them off LOL). And guess what I’m tipping against you again Nuts! There are too many Nutty donuts in your line up so I’m tipping a Beasts vs. Lions granny in Divvy VI.

Preliminary Finals

Longwood Lions 2238 d. BloodnTars 1992
BenjisBeasts 2143 d. Nutkickers 1884

Longwood Lions and BenjisBeasts are Kings of the Division VI jungle as they won through to the Grand Final next week. The Lions have been strong throughout the whole season and the Beasts have come good in the second half of the season after a slow start.

Benji's Beasts were a former Division I side that may be up there again depending on the results of Division II finals but the Longwood Lions could be the team that goes on to claim the flag next week.
