Nominations from your club and opposition club's players that have caught your eye, i'd trust our selections would be a lot more accurate than the SAAFL Team of the Year nominations.

I know we will finish bottom but PNU would have one dead set certainty in Adam Rowett. Has been outstanding all year and has polled very well on the internet votes. He will win the PNU B+F from Chris Radetti in second who has also had a solid and consistent year. Then with a gap to third that would be bigger than my ex wifes tuna village, the only other PNU rep who may consider themselves a chance would be Nick Jolly. Has kicked 30 odd goals playing mainly up forward. Innacuracy in 2010 will prevent him from being considered as a genuine contender for team of the year.

From our mob i'd say, C Mitchell at FB, M Stevens at FF or FP, R Hornhardt on the wing, possibly A Whitaker in the BP been injured a bit though. Be nice to get a couple in the team.

I would list the other players from other teams, but i'll wait n see if any pop up from my list, definately Rowett in my team at either CHB or FB.

Probably only 1 certainty from Gepps Cross, Brodie Hudson. Certainly our best & most consistent all year.

i'm gonna go by how the guys have played against us, as i know the names in the paper can often be quite misleading.
Gaza- Kerr as the ruckman, Merritt, Wagner, maybe even Horsnel
Henley- Turner, Pederson, McGregor
Goodwood- had a few injuries when they played us, and conditions were pretty poor that day. a bit hard to say, but i'm sure the regulars in Demasi, Illman, Giles, Bartel could get a gig.
SHOC- Tasborski, a couple of others stood out too. #37 i think from memory. (we have them this week so will know more then)
TTG- Wicks, Hawkins, and the other guy who i think plays on the wing too who kicked a few goals against us (Cochrane?)
Salisbury Nth- Hay, Jordan
Port Districts- i think the surname is Riggs maybe. #2 i think.
PNU- Rowett, and i hope Jolly too as he's definitely our most valuble player.
Broadview- Stevens, Hornhart, maybe Newberry too.
Gepps- Hudson
Apologies to any others who have had good seasons so far, but i just picked these from the games played against us from memory.

Pretty good rap up BOP, Jon Flo from SHOC wouldn't be to far away either imo.
From PNU you could probably put C Radetti in the mix too.

spot on Iron Fist, he'd definitiely be in mine, having seen him play a few times this year.

bird of prey, Prior has played every position on the ground, and done well everywhere. would have to be favourite for PDFC's bnf.

Redden from Henley would also go close i would think.

C Radetti could be added, played well against us the second time. Yoemans from SHOC is good but i think Rowett (PNU) would have his measure at CHB. I must add S Leal for us out of the back pocket, real solid all year.

Wrong thread for the 2 players i'll mention but as shirtfront has mentioned SAAFL Team of the Year I think there'll be a place at full-forward for either hamilton or lister if not both FF and FP, div 2 is a different standard of football but with what looks like a lack of major goal kickers in div 1 and listers record over the years both would have to be in consideration surely

An interesting selection TDK, Hawks to go down to Port District.

Nah it's not that I don't rate him. I'm just going from my memory as to who stood out in the games against us. Higgs was the main one from districts that stood out in my eyes. I'm sure there were others though, and I definitely take your words for it that Prior should be in there. It's just that his name doesn't ring a bell that's all.
My apologies if i made it sound as though he shouldn't be in there. Not what I meant at all.

BOP clearly stated in his first post it was a team based on who he could remember played well against PNU and apologies for anyone he left out. Not easy to remember who played well from every team and I am sure based on just two games everyone would pick slightly differently! PRIOR is a very good player, time to move on Iron Fist!!
