Reading on from Section 30 of the Community Football regs, which a dedicated soul could find from a link on the SANFL site, says some interesting things that could be used after the other nights events...

Since I was told today that there is no "code of conduct" for the PLFL tribunal (being an independent body, they wouldn't be bound by the PLFL Constitution), where our constitution is silent, it reverts firstly to Community Football...

Someone with a few minutes might wanna check that particular section out... 8)

Ken Whelan Fan wrote:The young lady in question was told by Joey B that she was a "absolute disgrace as an umpire"
at the tribunal. When asked how MP would plead JB asked the Commisioner about the mandatory
sentencing policy and was told " thats only a guide line and I havent even read it yet"
"in that case we plead not guilty"
Once again the race issue was bought up MP are being victimised how come their players are the
only ones that get reported etc etc
the Umpires, PLFL and MP are meeting to discuss whether or not the umpires front the game.
From my perspective the judiciary need to front the PLFL with a please explain.
I would fully support the Umpires in there stance, I know we all give them a hard time on Saturdays
but they have a job to do and deserve to be respected for that

That is a disgrace from the PLFL. As myself at 15 years old went before the GFFL tribunal as an umpire and was given total support by both the league executives and commissioners that they will not allow such abuse to happen to volunteer officials. My hand was forced due to inaction of the controlling umpire, never again did the central umpires sit on their hands or opposing sides step out of line behind play thinking that they would get away with it

Once again the PLFL are the laughing stock of the state in regards to Football administration. Your circus makes the SAAFL look like professionals :?

Heater, again, you are right...

There is a need for drastic action to be taken immediately...

Because I hear today that yet another poor headline is coming the way of the PLFL...

Heater, you also don't have a MP in your league. It sounds like this part of the equation alone is a big part of the problem, as well as a gutless panel.

Just read back the last couple of pages, to see if this had been said, and I couldn't see it, so:

Thekla actually got a phone call from one of the commissioners congratulating her on how well she presented her evidence...

But somehow... Not Guilty... :?

speaking with Harry M and he advised that the peckers will half half a dozen good players out this week due to a funeral. The bad weather will also even up the games.

I think the Peckers will be way too good (players out or not)- and Souths wheels have well and truly fallen off... :(

Despite their big win last weekend, Rangers have been no good this year- and Tassies big forwards (Cimma/Wagner) are in great form.

Tigers... well, it doesn't matter who lines up for them, or who they play (and I hate to say it), they are going to lose big. It doesn't matter that Waybacks are playing great team footy, which they are... this game could be 100 points +
