At this stage, the Mallee Park match could be officiated by Tangles2k9 and MH in goals, and TRR and Johnny Easton on field! Such is the expected shortage...

Can you confirm your availability TRR? ;)

TRR is at Cleave gorging himself on scones and beer so that he can keep that petite figure. Last discussion was that there is no f.....n way that he was interested in umpiring ones. It would reduce his carb intake (beer) as he would have to stay off untill after the game.

Johnny Easton on his lonesome then...! He's the only fella out there that'd do anything to score a one's umpiring gig...

My impeccable source says the reporting umpire was unable to identify the Wayback player being struck because the player was laying on his back at the time he was being punched 3 times in the head, as a result the umpire could not see the number on the Waybacks players guernsey.

I heard from multiple sources that MM admitted to 6-8 strikes, yet was still found not guilty.

I find it incredulous that a report can be processed citing an unknown wayback player. In the AFL charges can be amended to incorporate fresh evidence etc....surely one of the other umpires could have assisted the umpire in identifying the player who was assaulted.
The report is usually completed after the game, so surely all the ducks could have been in a line before processing.
Not having a go at the umpire, just the process.

After being overlooked last week, I think TRR has packed the whistle away.

Your club supported the league with it's processes, or lack of!! Maybe if the PLFL were held accountable a few weeks ago and made to act the ship would have been in order by now. WFC basically said you are doing a great job, keep it up, we support you. Is now biting you on the bum is it not? Mal would have been rubbed out and your path to the GF would have been infinitely easier, for he is their best player, IMHO.

As always Bluesy, happy to stand corrected....

A Recap of the Season from the "Media Park News Centre."

2010: Harry, Phillip (twice), Mallee, Orion, MPFC x 2, and the worst headlines PLFL have had ever, with Footbrawl, and then the BFC forfeit.

Watch this space.

Support Mallee Park? We and Waybacks supported the PLFL and its constitution. The weak link in the reporting process has always been the umpires themselves. All clubs have played the "game" to get their players off. Unfortunately the advocates are better at creating doubt and discrediting umpires' evidence then the umpires presenting it.

wouldn't have taken much for smokin joe to intimidate a young girl in her first season umpiring senior footy

WRONG, when there was a meeting held about a week after Harry & Philip recieved there pathetic suspensions, Clive Palmer stood up and stated that the WFC supports the PLFL in their handling of the issue.

The meeting regarding Bostons forfeiting and W & MR supporting the constitution was some 8 weeks later, I also agree with this stance.

Wrong, wrong, wrong, you did support the league in the handling of the Footy brawl incident, and it is not the Umpires fault they have had enough of the crap they get from one club too, plus the last incident, the guy on the weekend was on his back how could she see what his number is, she still has to umpire as well, and mallee said he hit the player 6 or more times, Who hands out the penalty that who we need to focus the blame on, not the umpires
