Clark isn't that great in one dayers, his test record is great but he struggles a bit in the limited over game.

Get Hilfenhaus or Tait in i say.

The bloke can bat, no worries here - as for his bowling: see what Pietersen is doing to him now. 3 sixes in 2 overs.

White 0/27 off 3 overs!

England 3/166

He got clobbered by who ?
By the worlds most destructive middle order batsman.
Like I say hes good enough to be picked, lets give him a few games not 1 spell.

EG 8/242
Worlds best o/d middle order batsman 82[91]
Worlds best o/d bowling allrounder 47*[38]
Worlds top 5 o/d bowlers 3/46
Worlds BEST o/d bowler not playing

For the non cricket followers they are
PIETERSON-FLINTOFF-BRACKEN-LEE the above 4

Once again the SO CALLED most over-rated batsman in the world hits 82
The man averages about 57 in o/d games.
Yeah out to a wild shot AGAIN some would say

Good also to see FLINTOFF improved today 0h thats right hes not captain......

BRACKEN is the most underated o/d bowler in the world and is top notch

LEE is the BEST o/d bowler in the world, for confirmation we can private message AH

A good score by ENG with ANOTHER matchwinning innings by KP which will be
predominantly forgotten when Australia win again

Agree with others CLARK is a better test bowler
Agree TAIT/HILFENHAUS are worth a try

Did we all see DALRYMPLE HBW MCGRATH

Don't worry MAL i know what you are on about... in a better side it would probably be a matchwinning innings.. he did play very well today.. he got out going the slog which you need to do in the final overs of a one dayer. He should not have started walking off though, even though the great man ROY was under the ball.. he should have at least crossed to allow Freddie to get on strike.. he played extremely well.

quick edit... at first glance i though darymple was out.. but then on replay it looked like he copped the craig mcdermott curse
i would bring in Hilf or Tait for Clark next game unless Lee is fit
MJ deserves another gig, he was superb as was old man McGrath

also why bowl white and clarke and not symonds who is better than both with the ball???
i'd like to see Hogg in the side personally, hes a champ

We have to remember that all this tournament for Australia is just a prelude to the world cup, i think he gave White and Clark the chance to bowl against a quality batsmen in Pieterson in a pressure situation. We all know what Symonds can do with the ball but White and Clarke may need to be used at some stages during the world cup, thus getting invaluable experience.

I would definatly give White a chance his bowling could improve to around about the same standard as Hogg and we won a world cup with him in the team, Plus his middle/lower order hitting is going to be criticial in the windies.

RM have to agree with all your points.
Perhaps bowling WHITE before ROY for exposure in the big time.
As for CLARK before ROY :?:
HOGG is better then all of them put together in o/d games.

White does go for a few runs, but he is a wicket taker.

Yes. He takes one every now and then.

And you can ask me about Cameron White while you're at it. I don't know if I think Lee's the best one day bowler in the world, but I've got an idea who may be the worst.

Was that guy who just caught the six in the crowd off Gilchrist's bat Troy Bond (the former Crow)?

I forgot it the moment Gilchrist went in to bat. Not sure how Pietersen can make match winning knocks when he plays for a bunch of losers.

How stiff was Gilchrist? Caught by Nixon!!!!

that'll learn him to charge ooh-ah Glen McGrath- that's what you get for not respecting a quality bowler like McGrath.
Love the fact that Gilly, Punter & Pidge sledged KP immediately- all 3 got stuck into him! :D
