I remember a scenario a few years ago when a club signed a player from another club on the proviso he was picked in the league side when fit. If North have players on contracts where there is an expectation of top grade selection regardless of form it might explain why Healy is apparently picking blokes who keep letting him down and breaking the team rules.

I know when Central played North earlier this year you could see North trying to switch like the dogs do. But they were so slow and hesitant doing it all they ended up doing was going backwards because the space was closed up again by the time they could think about using it. It doesn't take leg speed to do that, just some hard work, trust in your team mates' dedication to be in the right spot and some sort of understanding of who will run into the space.

That was my point absolutely NO credentials as a coach at SANFL level.

You have a decent coach AH are you trying to wish him onto somewhere else? If so, not a my club thanks.

Hang on, there is the Camporeale/Torrens/Elliott connection OH NO!

Why would Camporeale quit Essendon now if he is coaching North? Surely only if he was coaching Port or the Crows (or another AFL club) he would leave Essendon now.

The jungle drums are beating apparently ... is it only a matter of time now before Healy has to pack his bags?

The Board will not sack Healy due to the cost of paying him out and then having to pay the same $SS for a new coach. Trust me for a part time coach Healy is on big $$$ HOWEVER they will expect Healy to resign which will remove that "pay out" clause!

Perhaps what the current coach should do is have a look at Fridays Advertiser
Find the SANFL sports page
Look at the team placements for all teams
It will look like this
3 across full forward line
3 across half forward
3 across centre
3 across half back
3 across full back
3 in the first ruck
3 on the bench

Photostat that page
Take down the notice that says
DEFENCE WINS FINALS
and replace it with
ATTACK + MIDFIELD + DEFENCE + RUCKS WIN MINOR ROUND GAMES

Too radical Mal. :)

Who would have thought when we started watching Mini League in 1969 with kids not holding their position and running all over the place, that 40 years later League Football would be played exactly the same way? :)

Let's say that he may be gently encouraged to agree to a mutual separation ... on the club's terms.

Not sure you can blame the Board for the appointment? I along with many others thought he would be a very good pick as coach however after two seasons and with the resources etc he has had it hasn't turned out that way.

I know the Board are not happy like the rest of us as to the on field perfromances and results and at the end of the day that is what will dictate what we do moving forward. Hindsight is a great tool if you could have only applied that to the appointment in 2008!

Having said all that there are at least 4 current Board members who either do nothing or continually make the same mistakes and if they had the best interests of the NAFC and not their own self praising interests at stake they would resign immediately! Don't be suprised if there is not a push come season's end to shake up the present Board and re-focus the direction the club is going in!

There will be no shake up of the Board as long as "Mr Clipsal" keeps putting his money in.

As the members were told in a letter last year. Vote for the Board or the money goes!!!!!!
