Port V Saints

Can we make it 2/2 against the highly fancied Saints this week?

Would be an upset, but the last two weeks have been upsets too.

Carn the Power!!!

I don't see why not. Matty has got us playing some pretty decent footy. It's not rocket science either - get the ball up forward quickly and directly.

If we continue with this style, I reckon we can undo the Saints.

The Saints are not travelling the best at the moment and I can feel an upset brewing. The Power have a pretty good record against the Saints. The Power just need to show up and play footy, like they've done for the last 2 weeks.

Power CAN win, BUT need to put Scoreboard pressure on the Saints early just as Essendon did last week. Can't expect the Saint's to let Shultz & co dominate in the air like last week, so Ports smaller players up forward need to fire this week.
My tip is that who ever gets the run of the umpires and convert their opportunities the best in the 1st term will win the game.

:? :? I'm with yer mate.

Totally INSIPID performance by Port. Simply can not be taken seriously as a Footy Club when you serve up rubbish like that. Coming off a couple of wins and playing an out of form side, HOW in the Flying F**K do you get thrashed by over 15 goals. ?????????????????????????????
Can take get beaten from time to time by 4, 5, 6, 8 goals BUT 15 ! Give me a break !

Reminded me a bit of 2007 GF, had a few shots on goal early that werent kicked straight and then it was goodbye see ya later. Its hard to tell how bad we were because St Kilda were so damn good. Not sure what happened to our strong contested possession particularly out of the centre square, as we have been going alright with that lately.

Reality check!

Relief actually because some Port fans were starting to dream about September.

Reakon it would've been disastrous had we miraculously snuck into the eight.

Any finals appearance would've papered over a-lot of big cracks.

False hope is the last thing we need...

I didn't think we were that bad. We just didn't have it at any stage.

Agreed, Port hardly had the footy and the Saints did as they pleased. Fisher, Goddard, Hayes and Schneider (Who was on him??) had a field day.
