Hahndorf vs Birdwood - I still think that the Maggies at home will be too strong, even though Birdwood surprised all last week.
Lofty vs Onkas - Onkas, thanks to Splendour in the Grass.
Ironbank vs Blackwood - should be a good game. Blackwood are a title threat so i can't go past them for a 35 point win.
Mt barker vs Brodgewater - oh my...I don't wanna be the one to push Vaughan over the edge, so I'll just say Barker by a lot.
Uraidla vs Lobethal - obey came to play last week but Uris have a sniff. I'd have to say that it might have been a flash in the pan for Lobey and that they're looking at a 12 goal loss tomorrow at the House of Cabbage.

Who are the players romoured to be missing for Lofty?? I think that we would have to play very well after last weeks debarcle at home to win. The amount of injury we have had this year it is a wonder that we are still in contention for a finals birth. If we lose tomorrow that is season ending one would think. I think Birdwood will trouble Hahndorf and all credit to them they were good all day last week.

I know that Artis was one missing, not sure of the others. Was chatting to some of the boys last week and they said they might have even been short on numbers!

That is a massive fall in numbers from having a C grade last year. What is going on?

Will be quite happy to see wins to Lofty & Birdwood tomorrow.

Is Lofty a chance of missing finals or are they already set in the five?

Was at the Lofty game and the dogs came out of the blocks firing but then it was all Lofty, especially in the 3rd. As an earlier poster said - Onkas have some great top 3 players then they fall away. Somre younger inexperienced guys stepped up fopr the Devs and saw the game out a lot easier than some of the doggies. I also think that it may have been a relative of Klun umpiring (the bald dude) ;) Fair dinkum...
B grade Lofty had some old new faces out there which i think will rustle some feathers. Some lads left out for guys that hadn't played before yesterday. With a full squad, Lofty B grade should be aiming for a flag. Final scrore was something like 15-10 to 1-3...

All members and supporters of the Loby footy club wish Ironbank A2's player Sam Witt a speedy recovery from a bad back injury incurred in yesterday's game against Blackwood. All the best Sam.

I havnt spoken to Switty personally but apparently he is in a bit of pain. Must of happened during the game but he kept playing with it. Xrays havnt revealled anything yet so I guess thats good news but more tests are underway. Will try to get an update soon.

This game was better than you would think! Especially after half time. IMO, Mt Barker wont win the GF. Although they are a quality team i still think Uri's will take it out. Have seen all teams this year and no other team moves the ball as good as they do (When on song).
May i also add, i thought the umpiring was good. For the first time this year they actually umpired to the conditions and let the game flow!
