Its Official NEMJFA members tonight voted to join the new admin board 8 votes fore and 7 votes against interesting to note that 2 clubs did not attend nor did they submit a proxy vote (thought for such a huge decision affecting the future of junior footy they would at least make a effort) could this have been the difference? guess we will never know now.

If that's the decision that's the decision. Have to be a little careful commenting on the issue with this

Any NEMJFA player, umpire, official or person in any way associated with a NEMJFA club will, if found to be posting material by an means whatsoever, that is viewed by the Executive to be detrimental to the NEMJFA or any other player, umpire or person in an way associated with the competition will immediately be suspended pending an official investigation by the Executive.

being forwarded to clubs last week. Refers mainly to facebook but would cover any comments on here.

Personally, I hope that the new board make prompt decisions so clubs can know asap what league we're playing in, age groups to cater & book in coaches & managers, securing sponsorship, purchasing guernseys, merchandice etc, inform parents, players & coaches of new playing rules, new price structures, & the hundreds of things needed to be finalised over the summer.
As it stands at the moment our finances are in limbo until all the proposals are put on the table. The last thing management of junior clubs need is last minute decisions hoisted upon us in late Feb or March.
Hey soccer you owe us 45million.

sheik the board will at least take 12-18 months to get fully set up as they will need to vote on the board members and then get a constitution set up so if any changes are to be done, that wont occur until season 2012 so you can plan as normal for 2011.

good to hear that North East are in favour of the set up of the board, just wait to hear on what Metro West will do.

Obviously GC & GG were not interested enough to turn up. They wouldn't want to bitch about anything further down the track then!

With 22 junior teams I would have thought it in our best interests to be there ????
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Shock horror the take over has begun. The SANFL now have jnr f/ball in their control with big brother telling them what to do. All that is left to do is for the SANFL to gain control of the SAAFL through the SACFB. Then Andrew Dimwit & Adrian A$$wipe will gain control over the SANFL forcing the name change from SANFL to SAAFL and their domination is complete.

Don't laugh it will happen the AFL spoke to the SANFL several years ago about the name change only to find out that the SAAFL had the rights on the name. This is fact!!!!!

The AFL also told the SANFL to do what it had to do to bring the SAAFL into the fold several years ago as it was an embarrassment that the biggest league in the country was not affilated.

Big brother is taking over bit by bit just look at the rule changes they have dumped on us that are CRAP!!!!

The extra circle in the centre is the biggest joke of all time.

BE AFRAID BE VERY AFRAID THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

SY, don't get too carried away with that statement released by the Ex, as it was explained to the clubs that queried, over the past couple of months, some players have posted some stuff on the internet that made certain threats and from what i WAS TOLD THE Ex wanted to make sure that they put a stop to the nrubbish being posted before it got out of hand. From what I understand it is prevalent in the shcool system as well. Just some early but covering I belive.

You obviously don't think much of the NEMJFA Ex if you think they are going to air the dirty laundry in public, can't see it happening myself. I think all you would have seen is a plethora of red jumpers / jackets at particular games and the best umpires at those games. Believe it is all done and dusted and the warning served the purpose. Direction was that it MUST be communicated to all players, officials & club reps. I think some ofn the penalties distributed for breaches this year, the nclubs are npretty keen to ensure the wrath of NEMJFA is not invoked.
