Or perhaps some selectors will never learn if that's the case...

we were sloppy early and blacks had more endeavor early but then we pulled it together with a 9 to 2 goal second quarter, bellman out standing as well as ryan verbis.

blacks have improved a lot since first time round with number 8 playing a very good game as long with some other on ballers

How can you have 3 players pull out 5 minutes before the game ??? For what reasons ??
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

One rolled his ankle, another twinged his hammy and the other had calf complaints. All happened during warm up whilst the B grade was still playing. Meant the B grade finished with 16 on the field for the last 5 or so mins after a few injuries of there own. Quite comical actually.

I was quite surprised when we come off and were informed we only had 16 on the field and this probably explained why the ball was coming down back a bit more oftern towards the end of the game.

Well done to the guys who have gone up to fill in for the guys missing from the A grade.

It would be nice to get a few back this week to help boost the stocks a little coming into the very tough Plympton.

IMHO i reckon the 5 trials might have something to do with the late season slump...
they'll bounce back... quality side...

note for plympton - you'll need to take a change room with you to BL on the weekend if the game is out there.
we all know that some things around clubs cant be helped but pulling the opposition rooms down in rd 15 is certainly a very literal way of 'not making the visitors feel welcome'.

well done to BL under what sounds like unusual circumstances with 3 pulling out at around 2pm. we got the jump but inexperience and body size got us in the end. our blokes are still having a decent crack which i'm very proud of. few sore bodies saturday night.

Yeh your right sprint, it is all about making the opposition feel uncomfortable :), nah its all to do with timing and ensuring the rooms are ready for next season which meant they needed to commence working on them through this season. Sucks but it is for the better.

In terms of the game, the changerooms must not of had much of an effect to your start to the game. You blokes had alot of run and good ball movement early in the game which caught us off guard and I thought you blokes had a real good crack all day.

Good to see you hang around for a beer to sprint :)

will brahma lodge be able to host finals if they dont have decent enough changerooms? i know saafl have certain criteria that needs to be met but not sure if changerooms are apart of that. i know i had to use the old golden grove changerooms a few years ago in finals so i think BL should be ok.

An Atco hut was meant to be there Friday afternoon for Saturdays game but for some reason was not delivered. I am sure EM will be able to shed more light on this.

you'll be right mate. if they have another hut on site then they'll have as much room as GG had.
