woodublieve12 wrote:jesus jabber... what i meant was we were very average, we played poorly.... no cop out... they played better on the day, simple as that... if you watch AFL you do see bottom sides beat sides up the ladder (not taking a shot at AL, just going on ladder position)...
not making excuses for plympton one bit... i reckon we won maybe a half a dozen positions if that, vanders was excellent, hibberd was good and our ruck won and a couple of on ballers... but thats not good enough, need more contributers...

however life goes on and we move forward and look forward to a massive game next week vs Brahma Lodge...

Your kidding me arent you i think if you check clearances we would have been smashed. Rucks fought hard all day but didn't take the bikkies!
we were down by 2 goals at 3/4 time then AL proceeded to win 4 centre breaks with no resistance and kick away.

#18 for AL was aloud to run free for 20 mins in the last and got clearance after clearance so to say that onballers were only ones to win positions is way of the mark. IMO Vanders and hibberd were probably the only 2 to really win their positions!

Yeah I agree with that.
Those early clearances in the last blew the game open.
Ratts (23) got a lot of the ball, as did our guys in there and rucks were pretty even til the last 1/4

rosewater played a pretty good standard of footy. the gave us a pretty good challenge but their fitness let them down. we could have put them away in the last quarter but missed a few chances. jacob olsen with 2.7

That particular man was very disappointed last night. I didn't see the incident, but a tough loss for the 2's.
Big Miegs on fire once again. Was an old fashioned shoot-out! VanderHaak with 8 at the other end... that blokes a freak!!!
Brilliant hands and kick.
Good to sing the song again, not for the last time this year I reckon.

brahma had 3 players pull out 5 mins before we walked out so changed the mood in the rooms but credit to the 3 young b graders that stepped in to play 2 games for the day..

we were sloppy early and blacks had more endeavor early but then we pulled it together with a 9 to 2 goal second quarter, bellman out standing as well as ryan verbis.

blacks have improved a lot since first time round with number 8 playing a very good game as long with some other on ballers

It's just a little joke, whoever wrote it is just writting it for kicks and giggles. I asked Gilesy about today actually and he had no idea about it. He reckoned it might be Matty Brame, one of our young lads who plays in the B grade. I thought it might of been Pricey, who has left a comment on some of our games before. Whoever it is obviously has some terrible spelling and grammar problems.

Great win for the Magoos! Behind at every change but kept at it and played a great last quarter. Heard a whisper before the game that 3 NH players had been out on the piss all night. Dont take too much notice of that but I rekon a couple of the guys mentioned really died in the ass in the last quarter! HMMMM.

Happens every week Bartman, so it's nothing new. Guys have the chance to prepare themselves in the right manner and chose not to. It can then cost the team dearly, especially in a close game where every ounce of effort is needed.

Yeah must be disappointing for their teamates considering they were pretty much playing for their season.

Agreed Bartman, it is disappointing. It comes down to a lack of respect for their teammates, the side and the club. Some guys will never learn.
