Meadows over Cally by lots as expected. Chadders chalked up 100 for the season with a 28 goal haul

just from an outsiders view but trying not to take too much away from the guys kicking bags in country div! but would it be fair to say kicking a ton in a seaon is not the feat it used to be... considering you play callington and sedan twice each which for j.hill and the likes gifts them well in advance of 50 goals just in those four games?

i think its a good effort from chad to chalk up the 100 in a team which isnt traveling as well as say TV with Hill but at the same time i can see your point considering he has kicked half of them against cally

It is still an amazing feat - just not in that league...
If you look at countryfootysa website, the leading 4 goalkickers in the state come from the same league.
The fact is they get 4 games to kick anywhere from 60-100 goals alone. Unbelievable!
28 goals in a game!! That is incredible.
I play amateur league and the biggest bag in our div this year has been 9.
Can't compare..

Can understand why that would be said but at the end of the day the standard in the comp is better now than some other country leagues in the state and the top 3 or 4 sides in the comp would be at worst competitive in most comps. Unfortunately when you have 2 sides that are nowhere near up to it that perception will remain.

Have seen a few Western Border League games this year and Torrens Valley and Kersbrook's side of the past couple of season's would beat the bottom 4 or 5 sides in that without doubt.

Great effort by the big unit, and a top bloke to go with it. Always enjoyed a beer and chat after the game. win lose or draw :drinkers:

Will Johnno be going around again at Maccy next season? Or is another club calling?
