Maybe not Pidge. Two games back but with a superior percentage. Just need to keep winning.

Division III Round 13

Year of the Tiger vs Brownys Boys
Boongas Bulldogs vs Pigeon Stinge
Punk Roosters vs pafc1870
Toolman vs Straycat Strut
Lioneaters vs Strawbsberries
Marion ManBearPigs vs lodge lads '10'
Onegameatatimers vs Cork in the Ocean
Carpe Diem vs TheWorstThereIs

The ManBearPigs have been recently ousted from the top four but get a chance for readmission to this exclusive group when they play the lodge lads in the Division III match of the round. This game will be very close indeed but I reckon the Milky Bar Kid could be the last one standing in this gun fight with the lodge lads to be kicked out of the top four as a result. Toolman will like their chances against Straycat who put in a shit one against Punk Roosters last week. In another close match I reckon that Toolman might just get over the top of my Strutties but there won't be much in this one either.

Pigeon has been trying to roost in the top eight with a belated mini-run but that will all end this week against Boongas Bulldogs who are going about as well as Lairdy's Bulldogs this season. Cork in the Ocean look set to win a bully game against Onegamers and Brownys Boys will record another win to keep their season alive. Lioneaters have been neglecting their side of late so that means look out if you have to play them cos Andy is in a very healthy trade situation. This week he'll clean up Strawbs mob and in the other games Carp will have a walkover against Worsties and Punk Roosters will shut the door on pafc1870.

I reckon Cork in the Ocean should be a little worried ;)
The onegamatatimers love the underdog tag, and i finally have been able to make some trades after a couple of weeks off thru illness.
A David vs. Goliath match here, and we all know how that turned out. :o

yes, I'm keeping a close eye on this one- it will come down to the wire.
Donuts from Franklin & Boak have not helped the cause, it comes down to-

Malceski (Syd), Farmer (Rich), Murphy (Carl), Graham (Rich) & Edwards (Rich)
v
Grundy (Syd), Carazzo (Carl), Bradley (Freo), Judd (Carl), Harvey (NM), & Ballyntyne (Freo) +76

Actually, I'm gone.

ROUND 13

Results
Year of the Tiger 1,626 def by 2,046 Brownys Boys
Boongas Bulldogs 1,737 def by 1,805 Pigeon Stinge
Punk Roosters 1,714 def by 1,946 pafc1870
Toolman 2,082 def 2,044 Straycat Strut
Lioneaters 2,139 def 1,616 Strawbsberries
Marion ManBearPigs 2,172 def 1,932 lodge lads '10'
Onegameatatimers 1,715 def by 2,167 Cork in the Ocean
Carpe Diem 1,840 def 1,185 TheWorstThereIs

In a sensational upset the Pigeon has laid a big white one on the Bulldogs' head to keep the Stinge in with a chance of sneaking into the top eight. pafc1870 also came out to play by knocking off top eight side Punk Roosters who all of a sudden look vulnerable with a match to come against the giant killing Pigeon Stinge next week.

The ManBearPigs saluted against the lodge ladies in a result that sent them tumbling out of the top four and Toolman recorded a fine win against the Strutties who have lost their way in recent matches. Lioneaters are enjoying a friendly part of the draw at the moment and they smashed Strawbs' mob and will do it even easier against Worstie next week to keep the likes of Browny Boys, pafc1870 and the Stinge on the outside looking in. As I said before perhaps it is Punk Roosters who are the vulnerable side.

For me it's all about the REBCats. Straycat Strut is my reserve grade where I get all my trade burning ways out of my system. Strutties is still a solid side but I haven't managed to get my full strength forwardline together in the last few rounds and captain Ablett killed me last week. Still confident of a double chance in III and a top eight finish in V.

Division III Round 14

Year of the Tiger vs Straycat Strut
Boongas Bulldogs vs pafc1870
Punk Roosters vs Pigeon Stinge
Toolman vs Brownys Boys
Lioneaters vs TheWorstThereIs
Marion ManBearPigs vs Cork in the Ocean
Onegameatatimers vs lodge lads '10'
Carpe Diem vs Strawbsberries

After the Marion ManBearPigs recorded a fine victory over the lodge lads last week they caught the Straycats and the Bulldogs but that form will come crashing down as they face the invincible might of Cork in the Ocean who has dominated Division III so far this season with one of the best win/loss records in the Hogg. Corky will clean up the BearPigs and send them back to the sty and out of the top four because a menacing Toolman combination will defeat Browny's Boys and end their season.

In recent weeks Pigeon Stinge and pafc1870 have recorded arse covering wins to remain in the hunt but both sides face opponents who should have them covered. Boongas Bulldogs had a slip up against the Stinge last week but I reckon they can bounce back to knock 1870 out of the race. Pigeon Stinge has been more consistent as far as his comeback goes and on last week's scores Punky is in trouble. However when I made this observation Punky called me on it and defended his point scoring ability. He's won me over - I reckon he'll get home but Stinge will get closer to a win than 1870 will in his match.

Lioneaters will complete the final eight with a regulation win over Worstie which means I'm expecting the top eight to remain as is for this division despite the best efforts of Brownys Boys, Pigeon Stinge and pafc1870. The Strutties and the lodge lads will bounce back to form after recent losses with wins and Carp will defeat Strawbs duds to move above Pigeon on the ladder.
