What is happening on this central div forum? It has been very quiet lately. Would have thought that with the important games coming up this week this thread would be buzzing. I am very interested to see the result of the loby-birdwood game, as us divvy 2 fans will be seeing a lot more of one of those teams next year. Not sure what sort of form either side has been in, but would be happy to see loby get the points, we don’t need a team in country div that would rather be playing in the Barossa. Another big clash between lofty and bridgy this week also. Would imagine that would be a heated affair after the raiders stole the points last time. Surely the candy stripes would still be favourites though. Sorry Vaughan, you are one passionate man but surely even you wouldn’t be tipping them this week? Think you’d be better off staying at home, perhaps spend some time on the business or maybe watch a VHS of Richmonds last premiership?

hi puss
business is absolutely booming so i will be attending this weeks match hoping to see the RAIDERS inflict more heartache on the devils. the last meeting was the most memorable day of my life (on par with the birth of my son) so im hoping lynchy and the boys can put in a repeat performance and simply blow my piping hot beanie clean off my head. the BRFC go in with winning form and nothing to lose so yes i will be tipping the RAIDERS.
hopefully jq will be stuffing his face with more humble pie come saturday night.
as for the video from 1980 i usually pull that one out most weekends during the summer when i need my footy fix.
also can report my wife is throughly looking forward to attending this saturdays ladies night but let me put in a warning to the lads... if you lay a damn finger on her you will be answering to me.
RAIDERS till I DIE!!!

Read something quite interesting last night someone at Maccy got a hold of a letter which was signed by the birdwood president ( apparently he didnt write it ) as to why torrens valley should NOT be promoted to central div next year, are birdwood now the ones in the gun to be dropped to country div next year? The relegation is based on all four grades & their performances this year isnt it?

Out of interest Vaughn, what sort of business are you running?

Cracker of round this week!

Top of the table clash - Draw!
Relegation clash - Birdwood by 4 goals, one positive of relegation system is that this game becomes alot more interesting
Hah v Onkas - Vital game for both sides finals chances, Onkas by 3 goals
Local derby - Devils looking shaky for finals if they go down again to Vaughn's mob???......don't see it happening......Devil's by 5 goals
Uri v IB - Thunderer's on a massive roll, not sure if Uri are the sleeping giant or have just dropped off a bit from last year......Ironbank by 3 points

Good luck all.......great to see such open comps in both A's & b's this year.....Hills footy alive & well

hi silky
you have got to be damn joking me no time for coffee tomorrow. i will be drinking red tins out at heathfield hoping to see the mighty RAIDERS make it another memorable day in my life.
Les isnt my brother he is my cousin and the prick is about as passionate as a pancake. he is just like most supporters these days as fickle as the day is long.

RAIDERS till I DIE!!!
V.

ps DA wont go into detail about my business as i dont want to jeopardise a pending deal I have with a large multi national corporation. i will say that if i can get the backing i require you will be seeing francishes popping up australia wide. i just need to convince a few close mates over in sydney to get behind the venture. it will damn near revolutionise the way we live. watch this space.

Called in at Birdwood, Roosters up by 3 goals in the last quarter, although they got beaten in the U14, U17 and B grade, so they may win the A's but loose the day!!

Once again sportingpulse is next to useless... any scores from around the grounds? I see Uraidla had a strong win over Ironbank.

it not the website, the clubs are responsible for inputting their own results.
Roos by 3 goals over Balckwood
as you said Uraidla over Ironbank
Lofty over Bridgewater by 8-10 goals
Onkas over Hahndorf by a couple of goals
i havent heard how the Div 2 derby went?

All clubs are given until 6pm Sunday to submit results. So blame the system all you like. It's working perfectly.
