Tasmans looked like they had they measure of waybacks when I left as they were over 3 goals up in the last term. No Keatley and Cragg hurt the demons and was the difference but the roosters were impressive.
The final four is now set and we can all tread water for the last 5 games and wait for the finals  .
Bar takings would have been good today with a healthy crowd.

The Boston FC family day at Poole oval looked well attended. I heard the interview with David Ellis on the radio this morning. Who is David Ellis?

Honest question:

Do you seriously think you are that good?

Although not high scoring (10 goals to 9), it was an entertaining match at Wangary on satdy. 3/4 score was LS by 5 goals + some points up but 5 goals straight to MR saw the diff less than a goal late in the last 1/4 and with the momentum. But good sides win the close ones and a good bit of pressure from a south fwd hampered a clearing kick by Gurtin which left the kick fall short and into the path of a souths player who ran onto it, ran his measure, and slotted the goal and snuffed our chances, which were pretty high at that stage. 3 close losses in 4 games around the win agin Bostons has caused a bit of frustration.
How long has Spud Taylor been back with South. Gee was he a focal point and prob. kicked 5. White was good late and i think most of the south guns were reasonably well held. Sinkers did a good job, Jerry fine but had his work cut out and was beaten on the odd occasion
Jake Sambo was good for us (again) and I really admire Matt parker's efforts this year. Brayden Caldy again high in our best players and had a battle with Jarden, who also played ok. Gurtin was the next best of our lot

South B grade too strong as were their U17's

Amazing the turnaround from the results of more than just recent years, but the tide does turn.

Perahps we need some of the faces that were over for the 2000 premierships reunion.

So if the tribunal is tommorow night then what do we all think is a fair penalty for the BFC?

Roosters still along way short of their best side according to a source of mine no Reinke at full back,no Cunningham in Ruck, no Hayden McInlay, no Brown (first game back in the Bs after 8 weeks)no Paul Franklin. Clean sweep all grades won by Tasmans and there is no doubt about who is the Kings of Ravendale according to my source.

The hearing is on Wednesday night. Both ourselves and the BFC have meetings in the meantime to discuss our legal options.

Does PL footy really need the Tigers, after last years efforts I'd say no. It's a bye anyway, might as well just call the day off and go fishing!![/quote]

Im sure it will be heavy after reading CU posts, probably burger with the lot, fines for forfeit, $ compensation to MP for lost takings, possible match suspensions, loss of points.

Last week was the start of a sad day for football and unfortunatley our juniors will be the ones to suffer the most which most don't really understand the under lying issue :(

Personally, not a great deal of media coverage so I don't think the issue's BFC have raised will get any response from anyone soon(maybe proved wrong we'll see) and things will eventually go back to normal until it happens again which it will.

I may be showing my age a little here but what are canjone's ?

The issue hasn't appeared anywhere that I have seen so I am not sure if the BFC has drawn any attention to the issue as they wanted.

I think CU's reference to legal action might worry the PLFL, with Bostons Legal dept. already on the case...

But as MPFC think, the tribunal is only a Kangaroo Court anyway, so perhaps MC might be TOO qualified... :D

Cajones- Mexican, i believe, for balls... Something the BFC have, and other sporting entities appear to be lacking...

KWF- I'll go you halves in the medal... 8)
