Fair enough, I am pleased CDFC are happy for him to play for Berri. I wish Jason all the best for the remainder of the year and think it would be terrible for him to be injured playing at RFL level. However I will leave this item alone given that fact both partiers are happy!!
It would be pretty special though to play in 2 premierships in the same year, a feat not many blokes can put their name too.

It'd be nice to get ahead of a team that hasn't won since 1964 and won most of its titles in the late 1800s

Must admit though, I've always liked South Adelaide. Had a soft spot for them from the days when David Stoeckel played for them and when Mark Naley came back to play for them and they had a really good season. I reckon Mac was playing for them then too...

Yeah Mac would've been too.
I think Adelaide coming into the comp killed South a bit.
Losing guys like Bickley and Smart and of course...Randall Bone!!!

Another bloke I remember from those South days 'Klanga' Kloentjens, who had multiple tats down his arms before it was 'cool'. Long curly hair too if I remember - a real maverick!

So, Berri responded in fine fashion. Up by 40 odd. How did the Central District recruit go?

Waikerie ended its streak of losses against Renmark. Phil O copped a yellow in a scuffle which took place just seconds before the end of the third.

Loxton too good for North. Losing Pickles, one of the unluckiest blokes in local footy, early on probably unsettled North but the Tiges looked switched on right from the start and blasted away early.
Kruges copped a bit from some of the North supporters for getting lots of possessions outside the packs but I reckon you probably earn those touches when you work so hard to get to the contest.
The Panthers still haven't got the right match up for Smith.
North showed at various times in the match that it can match Loxton, but...it's a matter of class and not turning the ball over at critical junctures and not missing easy shots.
Loxton do carry a couple of blokes but there is enough talent around the ground to cover them.

In the B grade, Loxton North had a win but we'll see if that stays. The Panthers had 19 on the field for the first 30 seconds of the third term. Erroneously the umpires cancelled the goal scored in that time by North but didn't call for a head count.
An official then told the umps at three quarter time that the score up until half time was wiped.
A bit weird in the last quarter, as both sides were playing not knowing who needed to do what to win.
Really is unfair on both sides, as it would've been good to know at the time of the incident as to what exactly the situation was.
As I said, it will be interesting to see what happens in coming days on that result.

Renmark's B grade had a win over Waikerie by all accounts.
Which, if you include the possibility of Loxton getting the points against North (depending on decisions made by the RFL), makes the last part of the season an interesting chase for finals spots in the seconds.

Paringa had a win over East Murray - The Green Baron was very happy about that.

Jase Sutherland played his best game in the RFL so far with numerous marks up forward, answering his critics with a great display.

First time in 17 years they have beaten Barmera at the Lakeside apparently.

Seems a day for breaking droughts, as Doobs said yesterday he couldn't remember North winning the B grade at Loxton and I don't recall it happening too much in the past.

Jason sure did display why he was recognized by Central Districts. Top effort, and topped off continuous ruck and marking domination with 5 majors!

Berri's defence once again was dominant for the win, and then was supported by some handy forward line pressure! Nathan Geyer again continued his solid form by dominating his opponent through a tagging role, backed up his effort from the week beforehand!

Loxton North (10 points) has Barmera-Monash (2nd) and Waikerie (1st).
