If only he'd given it away about 4 years ago before he started making a fool of himself on a regular basis. Was a good umpire once but now will be remembered for the incompetence he's displayed in his final years.

It's much better to look at this in a positive way. If this test gets into the 5th day and the next test goes 5 days as well, we only have a total of 7 days of cricket to have to put up with his incompetence.

It's actually really sad that it's come to this because he was a very good umpire. If he gave it away 4 or 5 years ago he would have been remembered as such. Now he's just the bumbling old fool who has lost the plot and that is how he'll be remembered much the same as Steve Bucknor as was mentioned earlier in the thread.

So he continues to embarrass himself. Hussey's LBW was a joke. At no level should an umpire be that bad but at Test level how has he been allowed to continue as long as he has. Just a disgrace that he is still there and thank god it's for the last time.

+1

Except that there's only 5 wickets gone in this test...

he can still kill off 15 more, and with Huss and North batting the way they are, and the revolving door of Pakistan players, he could kill off a few careers yet...
