Despite the losses, Souths form has improved in recent weeks and the club has several players available back from injury, play four full quarters and we are every chance of winning it.

South Ins:

Myke Cook, Kenny Campbell.

No outs at this stage.

Suggests that Mackay will play for Adelaide.

I saw a bit of him in his comeback game in the reserves at Richmond last week and I saw his league debut at the Parade back on the Easter weekend.

A great running half back flanker, super quick, good skills and very impressive indeed...

He was good in his only league match this season at the Parade.

Phil Harper said on 5AA tonight that Porplyzia will be the non-playing emergency for the Crows so if he doesn't get a late call up, he wont play any football at all this weekend...

That still counts as a qualification for finals which would make it his 3rd SANFL 'game' and only 2 more to go until he is eligable for finals with the Bloods, should they make it...

Like the look of the side except for Thompson at Full Forward.
Only concern is South's pace therefore we must get the ball first.
Expect to see 'Barry' McKenzie to play a bit on the ball.

James Stewart unlucky to be dropped, Allmond lucky to be retained, does not play well in the back pocket. Would think Thompson would play in defence.

Agree. Very surprised Stewart got dropped. Must win and must win by a big margin this week.

Not when it comes to actual ruck-work no, but would have been handy to have in the side to allow Cockshell/Mckernan to spend more time up forward.

I always thought Paz should/could have done more around the ground.
