Not sure what you mean by this Bigshow but they seem ok at this stage with the way they are being treated

Maybe GG will join Greenies on 9 wins in a slightly different scenario ?? Hopefully.....

*Not discredditing WOS' year, has been superb but I think with injuries, form and confidence you will be the team to slide, Salisbury running in to form will continue to rise. But WOS have the early wins on the board and were all chasing them!

Not confidence, just an honest assessment. If people take it as cocky so be it, more honesty wouldn't go astray in this world. I will possibly get ridiculed for posting that ladder.

Choccies wrote:OK good folk. Here's a bit of a summary of the last 5 rounds. Home games in Bold -
Pooraka 10-3 20pts 56.2% To come - Greenies, Fitzroy, SW, WOS, Woody Sth Should get a minimum of 3 wins out of that lot to finish minor premiers on 14-4. Plays both SW and Woody Sth
Greenies 9-4 18pts 55.4% To come - Pooraka, WOS, Fitzroy, Pulteney, Salisbury. With 3 away games against Pooraka, Fitzroy and Salisbury I would think maybe only 2 wins from the last 5 for the Dragons MK 1. A tough run without WOS or Woody Sth games and they'd need to be in their best form to win more than 2. Finish 11-7
G/Grove 8-5 16pts 55% To come - Fitzroy, Pulteney, Unley, Woody Sth, SW. Finishing with the WS and SW double should lift the 'burras percentage and we would be hoping to win all 5 of these as we did in the first half of the season. That's not over-confidence, just a challenge for the lads to win them all again and finish 13-5
WOS 8-5 16pts 51.8% To come - Pulteney, Greenies, Woody Sth, Pooraka, Unley. Could probably win 3 of these to finish 11-7 but they'd need to lift a bit from last weeks efforts and get some confidence back.
Fitzroy 7-6 14pts 54.7% To come - GG, Pooraka, Greenies, Salisbury, Pulteney. Undoubtedly the hardest run home of anyone with the 3 top sides and the form side of Div 4 in the next 4 weeks and only the best form the Lions could put out will save them. 4 tough games the next four weeks and I think they may struggle and win 2 at the most to finish outside the 5 with a 9-9 record.
Salisbury 7-6 14pts 53.5% To come - SW, Unley, Pulteney, Fitzroy, Greenies. With their form at the minute don't rule out 4 wins at least here for the Magpies. They will make the 5 and cause some troubles. Finish 11-7
Unley 7-6 14pts 51.1% To come - Woody Sth, Salisbury. GG, SW, WOS. Could easily get 3 more wins here and push the top 5 with a 10-8 record if they can sneak an upset. A very unknown quantity I think…
Pulteney 7-6 14pts 50.4% To come – WOS, GG, Salisbury, Greenies, Fitzroy. Another tough run home for the Blues and unfortunately I can’t see them shaking the 5 up with this tough run. May struggle to get more than 1 win here and finish 8-12.
Salis West 2-11 4pts 40.3% To come – Salisbury, Woody Sth, Pooraka, Unley, GG. Will beat Woody Sth and this it. I was really impressed with these lads and expect them to go OK in Div 5 if they can keep most of the players. 3-15
Woody Sth 0-13 0pts 32% To come – Unley, SW, WOS, GG, Pooraka. Disappointing year for the red and whites cos they wont win a game sadly for them.
So on this reliable information (rubbish that I have pulled from my ass) my ladder at the end of round 18 looks like this –
Pooraka 14-4
Golden Grove 13-5
Salisbury 11-7
Greenies 11-7
WOS 11-7
Unley 10-8
Fitzroy 9-9
Pulteney 8-12
Sals West 3-15
Woody Sth 0-18

I reckon you're about on the mark mate. I remember saying last year that the last three Div 4 premiers have come from teams sitting second at the end of the minor-round with a 13-5 record, so will be interesting to see if anyone gets there.

You should see him with his Taro cards on a Thursday night! I think he picked it up from Neighbours, Damm Toaddy and Libby...
