Might want some extra lighting in the changerooms though!

ive seen my fair share of bad change rooms i can live with it

when we played there, we basically just got changed and had our team talk inside and warmed up outside. north haven have a spare "oval" next to the changerooms which is pretty useful to have a run and kick on

Sorry Custardarm, but if an alleged cheating umpire is the worst incident you've ever seen in footy, you've lived a very sheltered life ;)

Umpires make incorrect decisions - fact of life.

This is strong statement and unfortunately i have to say that the goal umpire for hectorville clearly cheated today . Our full back punched the ball through for a rushed behind and as i was directly in line with the goal line he made contact with the ball approximately 1m in front of line . What ensued i am still shaking my head about . As our players started to get ready for a kick in and as the hectorville forwards moved to their zone positions the umpire conjured that the defender had reached back behind the line as he touched the ball and signalled a goal. After a breif discussion with the field umpire the goal was awarded. The full back in question turned and called the goal umpire a cheat ( no truer statement i have heard) and the field umpire gave him a red card and then gave hectorville a second kick from the goal line . So well done to hectorville on their hollow hollow victory and every other club beware of this but hopefully he takes my advice and gives goal umpiring away . Its 12:23 and i am still shaking my head at what i saw today .

i heard this happened and your words seemed correct, wonder how heccies see this?

I was a long way from the incident but from what i have heard it was the wrong decision. In saying that i know the goal umpire he was filling in because we had no one else and he is not the sort of person to deliberatly cheat i believe he made the decision he thought was right. Sometimes ppl get it wrong. It was not the only wrong decision for the day. Interested to hear what other ppl think of the elizabeth player who was red carded coming back on the ground after the game to abuse the goal umpire further and along with other elizabeth players threaten him.

probably shows that it was so wrong a decision that the only conclusion was that he dead set cheated get ya head out of ya rrrr's seriously no one else huh , maybe the goal umpire who did the b's and then the c's after the a's your kidding Arent ya

Actually, it would be the opposite. A cheat would be more likely to favour the 50/50 decisions rather than call the opposite of something blatantly obvious.

Dunno. Stupid? Maybe the fella blinked or got a fly in his eye.

I'm just suggesting that a cheat isn't going to want to get caught, which is why they probably won't call against the obvious.

Your making yourself sound like a total clown the person who umpired yesterday did not umpire against you 9 rounds ago. these things happen get over it the outcome of that game doesnt change the fact that you are 4 games behind us... a team that " isnt even that good" and the fact is you still havent played us when we are any where near full strength maybe if you put in the same amount of effort towards training as u do complaining on here you might be in a different position

the run home to the finals heccies brahma and elizabeth to fill top 3 spots.

plympton 14pts blacks(a) /lutheran(a) /b.lodge(a) /h.valley(h) /heccies(a) 1 home 4 away

hope valley (14) lutheran(a) / n.haven(h) /heccies(h) /plympton(a) b.lodge(h) 3 home 2 away

smithfield (12) heccies(H) /elizabeth (A) /blacks(A) /rosies(H) havens(A) 2home 3 away

rosewater (12) elizabeth(H) /heccies(A) /havens(A) /smithfield(A) /lutheran(H) 2 home 3 away
