Should be one of the best fights in OZ in recent times.
These two won't have to go looking for each other - both have similar styles: stand in front and throw bombs, both with great chins.
We all know Green , but Briggs twice fought Tomasz Adamek for a light heavy weight world title ( a real one IBF i think ). These two fights were given fight of the yr for the consecutive yrs they were fought. I saw Briggs at a Mundine fight on the Gold Coast and he is a unit.
I reckon this one will go 12 rounds and certainly won't dissapoint like some recent hyped up fights. This is what Aussie fight fans want and deserve the best fighting the best.

Would've been a good fight three or four years ago.
Briggs hasn't fought in three years and there's all sorts of rumours about his health.
Still, I guess it's better than finding opponents in retirement homes...

Boxing seems to be a sport that takes several years to develope the skills of the trade and fitness levels required to compete at the highest level.
Certainly would have been a good fight a few years back but i still think this has the potential to be a cracker and can't wait for it.
