For the player's reaction adding to the drama I remember the Matthew Robran broken leg at the SCG in about 1993

Thankfully didn't see it, but read somewhere once a player (think it might have been SOS) dislocated his hip and at the time it was being displaced one of his marbles popped into the socket and then became trapped .. OUCH!!!

The video of the Soccer injury suggests that guy must have really stubbed his toe. 8)

Just going back to the Barlow injury.

He is one hard bloke, who gets up after that and stands on it to test it.
Show that to a few world cup people.
It actually gives me goosebumps and my already high respect level for him has gone through the roof.

Tony Shaw dislocated his elbow in the early 90s, that was pretty bad to look at.

The James Hird face plant (cant remember who's knee he hit) makes me cringe
