Not Blackwood so no SFL rumour from me!

Well the info I have received is Lobethal has been accepted to play in the Barossa League if they drop down. Birdwood interested also, although the president more so then anyone else by the sounds.

Dunno if it's just me but I really don't care. If they want to Dummy Spit good luck to them.

Have fun getting pumped in the Barossa!

Can't wait till Lobethal take on the might of the Tanunda Magpies!

If he can overcome a serious case of soft-cock-itis then he might just be there ready to kick another 11 against the hapless raiders...

but it is a serious case...

hi informer
will be great to have you at THE FORTRESS on saturday after your absolutely fantastic hospitality earlier in the season. i have put the black everlast hat away for the colder months and will be wearing a more appropriate back piping hot beanie.
i will be on the far side wing in between the coaches boxs (usual spot) just love being out in the elements with the boys, but if the games get tight i will go up to the hilux and let off some steam.
mate i will be sure to bring a spare poncho for you because i know how much damn whinging and bitching there has been on here about the lack of shelter at spark park.
hopefully its a memorable day for you because ive got a feeling its gonna be your last visit to spark park for a few years.
look forward to catching up mate we will have a great old laugh.

come on boys lets really give them a serious ar$e kicking and jump start our run home.
RAIDERS till I DIE!!!
V.

ps how bloody good were Richmond last week. nearly popped my shoulder out after the siren i was swinging my scarf above my head so vigorously. my bet made a few weeks ago on the tiges making the 8 is looking better by the week. should make a tidy return on that one.

... thats a very loose definition of 'gun recruit', he's all ready to play.. just needs to get past the selection committee. don't expect him to leave the forward 15 metres though.

This is definately not the case. Both clubs would not be doing their jobs properly if they didn't even ask the Barrossa League what would be required to join if interested.

So both clubs have asked and requirements noted but doubt any would move.

I await the outcome of next weeks meeting at HFL H.Q. with interest. I reckon they will be told otherwise.

Agree Clever Dick - Who is the QC from a club that will be at the meeting unbeknowns to most people. He will just be a face in the audience. From what I hear they will say nothing on the night and I believe the meeting may be recorded as well. All because a club won't accept the a decision and from what I hear this person knows the constitution backwards and will challenge the board on behalf of several clubs thru a writ. Pity that it will get to this.

Blackwood got up by 3 points against a fast finishing Uraidla, very tight game with great players on both teams (Uraidla kicked the last 3 goals of the game and had the ball in their forward 50 when the siren went)

Blackwood B-grade by a goal
Blackwood SC's won
Mount Lofty JC's won
Blackwood Under 13's by a lot.

Not a chance, have brought up this topic with people at the club before and everyone feels the same way, Hills League is a hell of a lot better than SFL. Crowds in the hills are better behaved and hospitable. I've met people who have come over to our club from Happy Valley and Flagstaff Hill simply because of the poor behaviour they've witnessed at Mini-league level from parents at oppositions clubs. Statements from parents like 'Kill em' and 'Kick em in the guts', who would want their children listening to that?
