:D

Pappy also wants Ravendale to have a game every week...

RCC also want every event that the League holds (Mortlock dinners, the Annual Celebrations after our victories, Mail Medals).

They also want all the "selection teas" that the juniors hold throughout the year, and to top it all off.......

You guessed it, they want to charge PLFL up the date for it all...

Other clubs are happy to provide venues free of charge, but the infamous Ravendale "Hall Hire Fee" is going to put them to the back of the queue...

And all I can say... HAHA!

If waybacks come to the party then this could become a possibility.

No Daicos, maybe in your advanced years you have bought a home (or retired to one ) and pay rates, I however, have not, and don't plan on it until the rest of Pt Lincoln has payed off RCC...

And now you have to foot the bill for the bad decisions of one IB (and I'm not referring to Beebs), and I don't...

And, I'm proud of my (limited) achievements too! :D

EXCEPT! That he's asleep by now...

So let's take votes people...

Who should we get to write up footy matches....

Old Blue has lost it (if he ever had it), and is an absolute blight on local footy, and gives the Times a bad name...

I have this thing about the internet... It's hard to tell when you attempt sarcasm... :?

Bluey does a great job, if you want to read the best players and goal kickers in an extended version...

He relies on other people...

I purposefully fed him wrong info earlier in the year, he took it as gospel, and it got printed.

You can't be taken seriously if you're writing up games that you don't even see!

Its the same guy who dissapeared from Port Lincoln after leaving us (ratepayers) with an $700,000 debt that we as a community now have to fork out for for a complex that will never make money.
Yes it is true Whyalla have appointed Ian Burfitt as its CEO ~x( . The Whyalla mayor on the news couldn't stop singing his praises about his wealth of experience but maybe just maybe they should have interviewed us the Port Lincoln ratepayers and we could have said what a great job this man does :^o
RIP Whyalla

I have nothing against any club the leaases the community club and my views are my views and not that of the PLFL

IB's legacy, the Ravendale Community Complex.

For RCC to become profitable, they have to charge people up the doot, which in turn means they are too highly priced for the services they offer....

IB has condemned the RCC to hell...

Not hard to do is it??? Not claiming it is gospel but that's what I got told. Just post what you hear people, spice this joint up!!!

KWF, you seem to have some goss?? Post it, crap site if all we get is people saying they know something but won't put it up.

Rant over....

all very well panther but perhaps some truth before you post would help. perhaps you can also name the cougars person who said it was "unsavoury" because nobody at our training last night was saying anything as such.
i have not read the letter, but the facts are this, telfer was hit by a "fair bump" by roger in the first quarter. they are not my words but the words of the umpire and was heard by players. that apparently was when the injuries occured. late in the third quarter roger was dumped by telfer late, umpire let it go, roger not happy and went to the middle of the ground and with an open hand pushed telfers face. i did see this. umpire was 3 metres away and had a very clear view. umpire sent roger off which was correct. if it had been a fist then the umpire would have definately seen it.

Not a real 'proude' moment for the MRFC. But I am sure Carl and Magic were flattered with the offers. TFC not happy after talking to a supporter and have written to the PLFL and MRFC.
The bad blood between these 2 clubs seems to continue

Maybe not ... I heard that the umpire involved was previously dropped for a week for allegedly being caught smoking pot before an A grade match earlier this season :weedman:
