From the NAFC website
Trent Sporn has announced his retirement from SANFL Football, unfortunately due injuries over the past two seasons he has decided that his body no longer allows him to play and train at the level required to play professional football. The Sporn family has had a great association with NAFC and Trent has carried on that association with a real commitment and honesty every time he represented the North Adelaide Football Club. That honesty and love of the NAFC saw him return to NAFC after spending 5 years at Carlton, since 2007 he has become a real leader on and off the field. The North Adelaide Football Club wish Trent every success in his future after football.
