Round 16 - North v Port @ Prospect 2.10pm Sat 10th July

Postby GWW » Sun Jul 04, 2010 9:28 pm

The underperforming Roosters will see this game as a way of getting back onto the winners list but I don't think they'll have it all their own way against the Magpies.

After the week off though, and with a few more options up forward, I think North can win a close one by 2 goals.

Do you think so?

North play very good at Prospect, so I expect them to win by 20 points at least.
I wish my remembering was as good as my forgetting

So when quoting the history making 71 behinds scored for the match, I can quote the scores as:

Port 2.14 5.21 7.30 9.36 (90)
North 1.8 2.17 2.24 4.35 (59)

North will probably line up
FB; Cunningham, McIntyre, Archard, Stribling, Gallman, Ryswyck, Platten, Whyman, Wright
HB; Ivens, Allan, Thompson, Gill, Thompson, Delvins, Thring, Bennett, Pollock
C; White
HF; None
FF; Thiele
Ruck; Alleway
I/C; None

Ackland an O'Hara dropped and replaced by Alleway in the ruck
Thiele to return injured and play one handed at FF
To dispel the flooding rumours North to play 9 at HB and 9 at FB. See, no flooding, they are playing in their proper positions
White to play a captains role in the middle where he can organise the troops
;)

Looking forward to being at the MCG when this one is on!
I remember when I used to plan interstate trips so they didn't clash with a North game, now I plan them so they don't clash with a bye!

With speedy players like Archard, Ryswyk, Thompson and Whyman why are NA struggling to finish out most games this season ?
Is it mental, physical ?
Is it the gameplan ?
