I am not sure any Birdwood person would be willing to put a good word in for SJ after that happening?

Bumped into a mate today, apparently his phone has been ringing hot from clubs already looking at 2011 and requiring an impact coach for quick results. If not signed by Maccy soon, maybe a club within 45 minutes or even returning back to the Kookaburra's in a mentoring capacity.

Now I have seen some 'eccentric' coaches in my day, but the Maccy bloke was an enigma.
It wasn't even Anzac day and he was bringing up the Kokoda trail and the Rats of Tobruk,
there was something about Napoleon, and what the hell is the KISS method? Did Gene Simmons play football?
He had mis-spelt Full-forward on his magnet board and was holding it upside down for the whole quarter time break.
The masses must like his style though coz he was approached by 3 official looking guys after the game who all said
they were in the market for an 'impact' coach, he certainly had an impact on me, my head is till spinning.
Well worth the price of admission.

There's nothing like reminding our young guys about the sacrifices made so they can play footy every Saturday. Johnno has a plethora of inspirational messages.

Due to the country champs, the best local game to watch did look like the Maccy vs Echunga match. So i ventured over to Maccy and listened to both the first and third break talks by the Maccy coach. Spoke cleary and gave good direction for a team that was outgunned almost all over the park by the fast running Echunga outfit ( Echunga looked well drilled but a small side compared to what i would expect from T/Valley). Was hoping to see a good old fashioned spray but he was fairly restrained.

Surely 90% of the forum is taking the wee out of one another, I don't think anyone is crying themselves to sleep at night over it.
During his non-spray did he mention Gallipoli at all?
