Yep, the best thing he could have done was just walk away from it.

He had to run because he had 10 sturt supporters running at him! :?

This same player was allegedly involved in a very unsavoury incident earlier in the year involving a player from an opposition club who was reported twice, found guilty of striking twice and reprimanded twice.

WRONG THAT PLAYER was off injured .If I'm correct the twice reported player was either eye gouging him or punching him in the head at the woodville game
And some of your older fans last week kept up the NAZI SNIPPER thing with Grocke .Perhaps fans every where need to look in the mirror .
And if Grocke had used the same defence the reported North player did he would have got off as well ;)

That was the second incident, the first incident was with respect to Treeby. Remember one happened during the game and one was trial by video. I was as surprised as anyone that he got a reprimand for both offences.

As I said if Grocke had said they were calling me a Nazi due to my German name .Well he would have got off just like the reported North player did.
And I don't condone racial comments towards our indigenous players thats not on IMHO!!

And if he had the reporting umpire say that he had heard the North players call him a Nazi, he probably would have got a reprimand too.

I'm sure if we polled everyone in this forum about incidents they've had with other fans, we'd probably find every club has had some of its supporters act like total tossers at some point in time... though I've personally never come across a nasty South supporter! :-)

Centrals have been highlighted a lot in recent years...

Sturt have been highlighted a lot in recent years...

Maybe those two are the worst, but surely every other club isn't supported by angels and angels alone...

Maybe we could get Big Phil on here to provide a concise view

Nah he would have needed a TV lawyer to represent him

Have heard a whisper that the SANFL is now looking at banning Saturday afternoon games at Woodville Oval between the Eagles and Sturt as a result of yesterday's incident.

I blame the Eagles for calling Wooville the Fortress as it just incites violence with a name like that.
I also blame those who call themsleves Gods Army as we all know religion incites the most violence in this world.
