Nobody cares about the Power or the Crows. One is a historic club with it's head in the past and the other is a souless corporate entity with a solid bank balance but with a mad professor of failed September experiments in charge of the lab. KABOOM!

Stay out of our thread you PAPsmear and blackbirds fans.

A lot is made of Port's mediocre crowds, but Adelaide's have been heading south for years:

2006- 43k
2007- 41k
2008- 40k
2009- 39k
2010- 35k

In the words of John Nankivell.. "Interesting"
SAFC- 60 years...
StKFC- 58 years..

Sorry boys but this thread is 5hit. A bit like Port and the Crows really. It had all the promise in the world early and delivered at times but the longer it gets the worse it gets.

Poor old Crowies....by turning your club into a retirement home just as Gold Coast and West Sydney enter the comp you are sentencing the Blackbirds to ten years hard labour. By the end of it you'll be drawing similar crowds to what Port are now and AFL clubs using third party payments will offer your young stars extra do re mi because none of em will want to live in Adelaide. As a football state you'll get jack from the AFL as long as Vlad stays in charge and with the profits rolling in he stays.

Poor old Port....you guys are gone. Nobody cares, not even some of your own supporters. The faithful are dwindling as Choco whiteants the place by refusing to look to the future. You can hire as many bay covers as you want boys but you're papering over the cracks. The future for Port is not in South Australia but in New Zealand. When they said 'history in the making' they were right - the death of the Port Adelaide Football club and the birth of the first International Australian Rules Club to play out of Auckland as the Kiwi Power. Choice bro.

So there you have it my friends. South Australian football will not return to the glory days until Port move out. Only then will the Crows return to their glories of old. The glory days for Port Adelaide will remain in the 20th century with the 2004 premiership the last hurrah for a once mighty club.

Just as there is no money in SA footy, there's no money in Tasmania footy and no converts to Aussie Rules either. In Kiwiland that would have at least one of them if the AFL provided the other...like Gold Coast maybe.

Imagine the colossal ego stroke it would be to Vlad if they had a team playing out of New Zealand. That would REALLY **** Rugby League.

Well.....after watching port play this afternoon, then it makes me feel good that I support South Adelaide, at least I know the club is going somewhere....and that is forward, Port are going backwards each week, either Mark Williams is asking the players to play the way the players don't want to, or the players have no idea how to play to a game plan.
I wish my remembering was as good as my forgetting

Never advocated sacking a coach mid-season.

But enough is enough.

Is Choco running the club into the ground deliberately? There's something off kilter about the way he's behaving.

Chocco is probably gone at the end of the season. The power are in need of a change and big Chadd might want to go and head to the gold coast e they are with Bock and the boys can go surfing all day.
