Given that no one has been charged by the cops with anything I'm mystified why there'd be no discussion of the matter. Why have a forum if massive talking points from the day can't be talked about?

BTW I wasn't aware Treeby played yesterday, did he?

I am dissapointed in myself and the cheer squad for reacting to
what was said and apologise to all footy supporters at the game.

I would appreciate if the mods could stop discussion on flares throughout September / October.......

It's also a site where they can pick and choose what gets published, whereas SAFooty doesn't.

Im sure it will become a discussable topic at some stage, but how about for now we just accept a decent request from part of the admin team who provide us with such a good site?

MALGICAL MOMENT
EG 4-4
ST 1-7
Sturt needed a spark
The season on the line
Josh Cubillo got a centre break clearance, he burst out and kicked it to half forward
Jeremy Johncock was seemingly out of position
The ball carried to him, he stuck out one hand, and took a fantastic mark, as he does more often than most
Jeremy slotted thru a booming drop punt for a goal
This was the start of 3 goals in a bout 2-3 minutes, and ST led by 3 points
Had ST won this game that might have been the turning point of this match

Hopefully in the future all clubs will be shown the same respect on this site with regard to crowd issues, as in the past this hasn't been the case.

Good photo gallery that one, nice to see some familiar faces and what they're up to these days.

Magarey medal chance?? Umps will love the flowing dreadlocks

if my memory serves me correctly i'm sure he won a reserves magarey medal while playing with us......i think scott is a very very good footballer & the only reason he didn't cement his spot at glenelg his his leg speed as rubbers wants quick (with legs) players

as for the game i can't believe how some sturt supporters on here have rated sturts performance as ''diabolical'' etc, there were large periods of the match where sturt were in complete control of the game but didn't finish off in front of goal (that's where they lost it) whereas when wwt were going forward they usually kicked goals & they also had 2-3 goals in a row at least twice while sturt only manged it once (from memory), sturt had kicked 7 behinds before kicking their first goal & kicked 2.11 in the 2nd half with their 2nd goal being kicked after that eleventh point......that's the story in a nutshell but as i only know too well (see last year) bad kicking is bad football

as for the fracas thankfully i was at the other end of the ground but those wearing lime green colored vests were very slow to intervene
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway
