Heccies got up, albeit in very unconvincing fashion. Last two weeks have been a bit ho-hum. Gotta lift for next week boys!

i watched the game and thought it was a very good contest hard faught all day with plenty of feeling in the game thought mcntrye, coombs,dj and alioisi were excellant for the lodge and for the eagles i thought 13 greenshields??? i think was ok, haliday worked as hard as anyone on the ground but thought there back6 probabley let them down abit. Also must comment on brahmas forward line pressure and there ability to chase and tackle when they didnt have the ball.

also could not believe how many interchanges i seen fair dinkum i thought i was at collingwood v st kilda!

brahme lodge were a class above elizabeth today and perhaps shows a slight gulf between the top 2 sides and the rest , and im not normally one to question other clubs but i think it is rather disappointing to see some young guys running around in your c's and then in the b's u have an abusive dinosaur in the 21 who does nothing but be detrimental to what the club is trying to do on the field, surely u are better served by giving one these young guys a go in b's or even one g.haleth who killed us in b's first time , i simply cannot fathom why he plays b's ????????

North Haven 01.03 9 v 11.08 74 Plympton

Plympton over Haven by 39 points today.

We matched it with them for 2-3 quarters and perhaps played the better footy, our attack on the footy and tackling pressure was fantastic and the best I've seen all year, but again we burntout in the last half and Plympton took kicked 5-6 unanwsered goals and took full advantage like good sides should.

The last half became the Jim Smith show, as he kicked 6(?) of his 8 goals in the last half, taking us out of the contest and proving the differance between the 2 sides. Freddo kept him quite for a half and a bit, then Plympton left them one out in the goalsquare and Jimmy turned it on, like only he can.

The B grade had a big loss and clearly struggled to compete for all 4 quarters against a very good side.

Adelaide Lutheran next week, can't wait to see their renovated changerooms

Don't get me started on our away changerooms WUB12, they are the worst in the Div IMO. I'm so glad we don't have to use them. 8)

At least we make up for it and treat the visiting teams with all that fantastic food and range of beers. ;)

Yeah Matty Eagles was named best and it was certainly his best game for the year by far, after struggling a bit with injury and form earlier in the year.

Its not all as straight forward as it appears when people pull out on the morning of games. Other guys playing in the c grade are playing there because they want to or because of other commitments. George is one of those people....i would have loved to have had him in the B grade side today along with a couple of the other guys running around in the early early game but this cannot always be the case.

Solid win by the dogs, NH had a real crack and took another spray from the coach at half time to get plympton to pull there finger out. J smith a great game think you will find DK he kicked dogs first 5 goals and 3 in second half 8 straight too which the big fella was happy to let everyone know about tonight lol

Yeah thats Trent Greensheilds, he's been turned from our full forward to an awesome half back. Has been payin some great footy. Nugget ellis was good today also. I thought #31 and #33 were really good for the Lodge, hav no idea of names!

Lowlight was a certain player carrying on like a tool after coming off not long after Donners threw him around like a rag doll! Sometimes all u need is a smug smile towards opposition coach and players, knowing the scoreboard speaks for itself. Not make ur self look like a knob. but hey, each to their own

Brahma proved they are the benchmark, up to Elizabeth to improve to that level come August.

Just wrote a convincing write up of todays game but lost it all.... so here it is as short as possible.

Our better footy was better than theres but they sustained it for longer and won the game simple as that.

Trent Greenshields was best on easily. # 31 for brahma (cossie look a like) followed closely behind simply for his speed and creativity. Bellman was beaten by Halliday, particularly around the ground. Not sure why Payney though Bellman was in thier best (he really needs a shave). # 3 in the middle for Brahma also seemed to do well but its hard to tell from the goal square.

The little fat one did a great impression of a millipede and rolled himself into a little girly ball, shortly before being taken off. He got tough once he left the ground tho......he's awesome. Not sure if he spat on anyone else today but wouldn't surprise me. He tried to justify spitting on me by saying it wasn't spit??? Wat.....was it semen leftover in his mouth?

In all seriousness Payney and the boys all came in for a beer or two which was great of them and I wish them luck, well most of them...Payney is a good coach who deserves some success. They certaintly aren't unbeatable so this week against Heccies should be very important, they seem to have improved a heap since we last met.

come on mate you were everyone's best mate after the game and you give us no credit at all and say you guys were the better team when you had the ball, you guys are fat and slow and your best player today got sent off today for head butting our captain. your defense were slow and weak and i know why you put fringe players in the back lines because your midfield would not know defense if they were playing a ice hockey match.
