Then head across the ferry to Waikerie and visit the chocolate shop.

Before heading to Kingston-on-Murray and Banrock Station.

That should make the missus quiet happy.

Or...

After Mallyon's, head another half hour east on the Morgan-Monash road and visit Overland Corner. Good counteries and beers in a fantastic atmosphere.

Sunday brunch could be at Bella Lavender Farm at Winkie, about two minutes off the Sturt Highway. Great food and they're opening a mini golf course this week.

Unfortunately Mallyon's is closed all of July....... So may have to give that one a miss. But i can recommend this itenerary any other time though. Abosulute hiddden jems those.

Damn shame about Mallyon's being shut in July.
Thanks for the heads up - was thinking about taking Mrs DW out there for a Sunday lunch soon.

Can anyone recommend any attractions/eateries in the Riverland (we are staying in Lyrup/Berrie region) that would be worth our time to visit.. Particularly any I'm not going to find in the usual touristy brochures. Mrs is in to fine dining.

Banrock Station would be a great option.Great meal grat wine and good view
Highly recomend

Interesting developments on Independent clearance site.

Robbie and John Vagg unsuccessfully cleared from Baker's Creek to Cobdogla.
Luke Hefford clearance from Cobdogla to Baker's Creek pending.

Care to shed any light on this Cod Master?
The Vaggs would be very handy inclusions.

Looks like he'll play two to three more games for Centrals this year and the rest for us. These will be at different times (depending on who Berri are playing). Once our finals finish, he'll play the rest of the year out for Centrals.

Wasn't he the one that was at the other end of the Bart Rudd incident.
Strange move though.

I thought it was Henderson on the end of that incident.

Sutherland will be dictated by Berri when he can play League footbal and when he cant. What a disgrace. If I was you Pumper I would give back the $4K they payed Kaniva and tell them you owe them nothing. Stick with Centrals SANFL football is much better than RFL!!!!

Probably not the best agreement for either party. My personal opinion on this was that he had to be at one club or the other full time. I can't see the split agreement working for either Berri, CDFC or Jason.

Good article in today's Advertiser about Riverland lads playing down at West Adelaide.
Andy Collins also makes a good point about AFL spending money on Rugby League players and not looking after grass-roots football but I reckon the majority on this site would agree with him on that point.

WHUFC, here's a question for you.
Come finals time and Centrals have a full list to choose from, do you honestly believe Sutherland is in their top 21/22??
