If you want to keep the topic on portland, then i do have a couple of questions for you. I heard a rumour that one of your players is going away on a holiday and will not be playing the rest of the year, is there any truth to that? Also heard another key player maybe be out for a while due to a hamstring tear, how long will he be out for?

Bird is one of those players you want come finals time. Could be a big loss if you dont get him back.
One problem with you guys is i think you do lack depth judging by your B grade results. How do you think you will go replacing bird and any other injuries you might have?

Think every side would love to have a bird type player comes finals time
eg. seaton bringing barnes in to play finals when he played B's all season usually. But we cant help him going overseas.
Lets hope that he gets home sick and is back in 4-6 weeks.

Depth is a problem in our B's, results dont tell the complete story though, there are still some good quality footballers in the B's that are capable of playing A's. its the back half of the B's that are letting them down with results. Still got a few out injured aswell mcphil.

yea bird is a massive loss, but like i said i wouldnt right him off just yet,
all though our B grade are obviously struggling there is most certainly anough blokes there that are capeable of A grade footy to cover injuries or push others out so i dont think thats a big problem, obviously in a perfect world we would like our B grade to be winning more games but its not the end of the world that they havent as relegation and promotion comes down to the A grade

yeah birdy is a big loss but he hasn't played in 2 weeks (against seaton and mitham) and we have won both so we are more than capable of winning games with out him or anyone else for that matter

tough question.
Birds first half of the year was unbeleivable after having a season in queensland, but in recent weeks the dickenson, moody and cocchiaro have all been huge parts of our recent success.
not sure about these new signings, this is the first i have heard of it

ive heard a kris arnott has moved to the dome. im looking forward to hearing how he goes.
also tom lipson back this week?
and yea im surprised with the pick-ups of moody, wiles, cochiaro, and dubya dickenson that it's taken this long to string a few wins together.
also, are you playing this week picachu?

paoc to beat para hills 10 goals
scotch to beat kilburn 8 goals
cboc to beat Seaton 3 goals
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.
