Just heard on Ten News that Tim Paine is now replacing Brad Haddin in the Test squad too.

Tait in to replace Hauritz for the rest of the one day series.

Hauritz on his way home to recover from a foot injury.

Im not disagreeing with Usman's selection, but I feel for the players that have performed at state level consistently over the past 5 years. I hope that If you are over 26 years of age you will be still be considered for a promotion to the test side. How doe's a player like C.White who plays very little Sheffield Shield cricket due to his International duties in the ODI's and 20/20 prove that he is of Test calibre. The main way he can is by scoring alot of runs for Australia in the shorter formats, which he is. So where does that leave him a specilaist ODI, 20/20 player. Does he quit ODI's to play more Shield cricket and hopefully score runs to put his name in front of the Test selectors, or quit First Class cricket to concentrate on ODI's and the lucerative 20/20 market. Let's get the selection right, It's White, Bailey,Klinger ahead of Usman for me!!.

Agreed with you there Cadet with Bailey. He has played some great cricket over the last couple of seasons with Tas and has forced his way into Aus A side, I feel as though he deserves a chance in the Green and Gold, especially in the 50 and 20 over formats to start with.

Odds-on to have three Tasmanians in the Test side  Good to see.

See some of the one-dayers have been on Channel 9. Are we to be so lucky as to have the Paki's tests either on SBS or Ch 9?

Good to see him get a call up. It's a good idea by the selectors to get him into the Aussie squad early in his career.
